The Father’s Day Luxury Gift Guide

Posted on June 15, 2018

Father’s Day is almost upon us, and I’ve gathered together a few fantastic luxury gift ideas if you’re looking to treat someone special. I’ve included an array of fragrances, skincare, gift sets, tech and more. Enjoy!

Firstly I have this beautifully understated  – featuring a simple white face, with a gold bezel and navy blue leather strap. This watch would make the perfect Father’s Day gift – and if you’re interested, you can currently save £34.00 when you purchase from Browns Family Jewellers, just click on the above link!

On to fragrance now, I have quite a fabulous selection to share with you! Starting with a couple of niche scents –  is described as deliciously intoxicating and unforgettable. The fragrance opens with spicy top notes of coriander and ginger, alongside saffron and sweet heliotrope. At the heart is an accord of oud, olibanum and amber wood, followed by an oriental base with toasted-caramel notes of vanilla bourbon, musk and Alaskan cedar wood. This is a stunningly addictive and unforgettable scent, perfect for for the more refined gent.

And – The inspiration for this fragrance was Prudence’s father, Alexander who had a distinguish career as an officer in the Australian Navy. Spices permeate all aspects of the olfactory triangle starting with top notes of cardamom, mugwort and mint, before developing into a heart of orange blossom spiced with cinnamon and cumin. The final notes are a heady mixture of sandalwood and cedar, tinged with powdered notes of vanilla, amber and tonka bean at the base.

Fans of the brand will know you can’t beat L’Occitane for gorgeous gift sets, and the is perfect for Father’s Day. The Cedar scent is refreshing, energising and masculine, blending citrus notes of cedrat with icy cool mint and woody spices. The gift set contains 75ml L’Homme Cologne Cedrat EDT, 250ml L’Homme Cologne Cedrat Shower Gel Body & Hair and 130ml L’Homme Cologne Cedrat Spray Deodorant. All housed in a luxury L’Occitane gift box.

Now for something a bit different, how about ? You can purchase a single box (which includes everything above) or sign up for a subscription, where the recipient will receive a premium selection of classic wet shaving goods delivered to their door every six weeks. I think this is a great idea!

For music loving dads, the  are a fantastic investment. Combining elegance and comfort without compromise, the MA650 are wireless, premium bluetooth in-ear headphones, designed for seamless compatibility; whether exercising, travelling, working or relaxing. The headphones feature a massive 12 hour battery life from a single charge, they are moisture, sweat and stain resistant, and offer enhanced audio with aptX and AAC streaming.

I always think cufflinks make a lovely gift, and these smart yet fun  would make a wonderfully colourful addition to any Dad’s wardrobe. Crafted from silver toned brass, the cufflinks are adorned in a multi-coloured button design, complete with enamel plating and classic t-bar fastening.

Back to fragrances, next on the list is  – Warm, sophisticated and distinctive, this fragrance evokes Britain’s country and coast with its complex scent that evolves on the skin, this fragrance is designed to follow you through your day with top notes of grass and greenery that matches the energy of the morning, the scent then matures into the rich spices at the heart and finally warm and earthy undertones of wood and balmy ambergris at the base exude a more subdued and reflective tone of the evening. I think my Dad would love this scent!

And  – Playing on contrast and overdose, Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De L’Homme Parfum is a woody oriental fragrance opening with a fresh burst of bergamot and anise, immediately followed by the spicy, virile warmth of black pepper. Notes of lavender and labdanum release all their power to the trail, with the sensuality of patchouli and vanillaVetiver adds the final note to a stunning and unique fragrance.

How about the  – Daringly dark, this sumptuous fragrance entwines extraordinary floral notes with soft spices and wood. Infusing perfumed particles of powdered white orchid and lily intensified by spicy nutmeg and clove, it has an intoxicatingly smooth base of coffee, patchouli leaves and black vanilla pods to bring a lasting and luxurious depth to the scent. Hand poured and stirred by skilled artisans, it is encased in a black glass holder and is made from natural soy wax.

And lastly for fragrance,  (available at Demenhams) is definitely worth considering. Inspired by the desert in the magical hour of twilight, the powerful freshness of ‘Sauvage’ exudes new sensual and mysterious facets. The scent opens with notes of juicy Calabrian bergamot, and the woody ambery trail of Ambroxan is wrapped in the smoky accents of vanilla absolute – this scent would really make a fantastic gift.

from Debenhams would also be very well received (in my opinion!) This is gin made the way it used to be. Sipsmith London Dry Gin was born out of a desire to see gin production return to the city where it earned its name. With a nod to traditional hand crafted production, this gin combines traditional copper pot distillation with a recipe that wouldn’t look unfamiliar to an eighteenth century Master Distiller. Bold, complex and aromatic smooth enough for a Martini, yet rich and balanced – perfect for a refreshing G&T.

Or maybe this rather nice  – so Dad can enjoy is favourite tipple on the go? This flask is wrapped with navy blue faux leather and includes two stainless steel shot cups which sit comfortably within the popper lid – this is a fun accessory for nights out.

And lastly, what would a luxury gift guide be without Tom Ford? In fact I’ve only recently realised Tom Ford has his own For Men collection, including a selection of skincare and grooming products…

is a stunning scent, perfect for those wanting to make a statement. An enhanced version of the signature Tom Ford Noir Spray, Noir Extreme EDP is a bold and sophisticated woody-oriental fragrance – this is definitely one my husband would love!

 – This water-activated, foaming gel cleanser has been developed to condition while it cleanses. Its lightweight formula conditions and hydrates the skin as it unclogs pores and prepares skin for a smooth shave. It rinses beautifully without drying, so your face looks and feels smooth, refreshed and energised.

And lastly the  – Exclusively designed for men’s brows, the Tom Ford For Men Brow Gelcomb Defines Brows into a natural, healthy shape essential for the polished and sophisticated look preferred by Mr. Ford. With a specially designed precision comb and easy-to-use twist up applicator, the lightweight gel easily glides onto hair to tame and set brows into place. In a universally flattering tinted hint of colour, the brow Gelcomb adds shine and can be used on all hair colours and skin tones.

Posted on February 11, 2018

Hi Guys!

Valentine’s day is almost upon us, so I thought it was about time I shared my Luxury Beauty Valentine’s Gift Guide! As you can probably guess, this gift guide is packed full of wonderfully luxurious beauty treat, from makeup, to skincare to fragrance – I hope you enjoy!

Ok so this isn’t exactly a beauty product, but I wanted to include this gorgeous Culti Room Spray in Fuoco (£34.00 at Harrods) – described as mysterious and magical, this room spray includes notes of Rose, juicy Citrus, Clove and romantic Patchouli – the perfect room scent for a romantic night in.

  • Top notes: Fresh Rose Infusion and Sambac Jasmine Tea.

  • Base Notes: White Musk and Amber Wood.

When it comes to fragrance, Tuberose is one of my favourite notes, and the beautiful (£70.00) is just Tuberose at its finest. It’s described as a rich body cream that hydrates, smooths, and softens with the delicate scent of a luxurious Tuberose blend, which perfectly complements both the Aerin Tuberose Le Jour and Tuberose Le Soir fragrances.

If rose scents are more your thing, the could be perfect for you. These beautifully scented bath and body products make the perfect addition to the Maison Francis À la rose range, adorning the body with a dazzling floral scent with notes of of Centifolia and Damascena roses – just beautiful!

And what would a luxury gift guide be without a bit of Tom Ford? The (£75.00) really is the height of luxury, and for the price, you’d expect nothing less than the very best. The packaging is of course beautiful, and this bronzer is also super sized, so you know it’s going to last. The Tom Ford Ultimate Bronzer features a silky, lightweight texture with an exclusively formulated mineral blend of Sunstone, Amber and Black Tourmaline Crystals, combined with unique pigments to flawlessly highlight your skin’s natural radiance.

I also have a matching  in shade 04 Aphrodite (£40.00) – I mean you really can’t beat Tom Ford lipsticks, and the Ultra Rich Lip Color’s are just what you need if you’re looking for full coverage, vibrant, moisturising high shine colour – what more does a girl need?

From Chantecaille I have the stunning in ‘Bee’. This is one of those products that’s just so pretty and special, that you don’t actually want to use it!

Chantecaille’s Philanthropy Cheek Colour is a finely milled, featherweight pressed powder blush, designed to deliver a light veil of naturally flushed colour. Inspired by magical creatures of the wild, the Philanthropy collection is dedicated to six charities that work to support endangered species around the world, reflected in each intricate, shimmering embossed design. With this cheek colour, your morning makeup routine becomes a mindful, reflective act, brushing on lightly and blending in seamlessly to create a rosy glow.

And I also have a in shade Hyacinth – This beautiful hybrid lip colour combines the high shine and plumping effects of a gloss with the rich, even coverage of a lipstick. The formula also contains hyaluronic acid, giving a soft, lightweight texture that helps to soften and condition the lips.

And lastly I have the ever-so-luxurious . This collection is possibly Rodial’s most lavish yet, and comprises of three products – a moisturiser, serum and deep line filler, each promising to deliver both immediate and long term anti-ageing skin benefits. The products in this collection contain Fresh White Rose Cells to oxygenate the skin, increasing cellular respiration and renewal for a radiant, bright complexion, and 24 Carat Gold Technology to stimulate powerful vertical and horizontal wrinkle smoothing action. Fragrance: Tom Ford Orchid Soleil

Posted on July 18, 2016

tom-ford-orchid-soleil-review

Hi Guys!

When it comes to fragrance, two of my favourite ever scents are by Tom Ford – these are Jasmin Rouge and Black Orchid – so as soon as I heard that Orchid Soleil was on the cards, I knew I had to snap it up as soon as I could.

I bought Orchid Soleil ‘blind’ as soon as I saw it on the Selfridges site, meaning I hadn’t tried it before purchasing – that’s how confident I was that I would love it!

Orchid Soleil is described as a summertime version of the gorgeous Black Orchid, originally launched in 2006. A radiant and sensual force of nature, the new scent captures the seductive warmth and reflective bare skin of the TOM FORD woman…

Orchid Soleil is a vibrant, radiant and sensual scent that is said to capture the magic of the most brilliant sunshine. The composition opens with spicy notes of pink pepper, bitter orange and cypress. Its vibrant heart blooms with red spider lily and tuberose, enveloped by the warm base of chestnut cream, vanilla, patchouli and orchid.

tom-ford-orchid-soleil-perfume

Well… I hate to say it… but I have to be honest and tell you that Orchid Soliel is not for me 🙁

I’m not sure if its just the chemistry – as you probably know scents smell different on different people – or what it is, but I really am beyond disappointed. Just because I was SO excited about picking this up. Unfortunately it does nothing for me, and I would even go as far as to say that on first try I just plain don’t like it – and I really wanted to like it so much!

I’m trying to put my finger on what it is that doesn’t titilate my nostrils – though I must say the longer I leave it on, the more I like don’t mind the fragrance, so maybe there’s something in the top notes that isn’t working for me? I’m not sure.

  • Top Notes: Bitter orange, Pink Pepper and Cypress.
  • Heart Notes: Tuberose.
  • Base Notes: Vanilla, Chestnut cream, Patchouli and Orchid.

On the other hand, the bottle really is to die for. I know packaging isn’t everything – and really isn’t anything if you don’t like the product – but I am a total sucker for pretty packaging, and Orchid Soleil really does tick all the boxes. The bottle is the same classic Art Deco shape as the Black Orchid bottle, but this time finished in wonderful metallic rose gold – what more could a girl want?

tom-ford-orchid-soleil

Ok so after a good few hours of wear, it is quite a pleasant scent, but I must admit I still do regret buying it. It’s nothing like the Original Black Orchid at all (to me anyway) and I guess I was expecting it to be fairly similar. I’d love to hear if you’ve tried Orchid Soleil and what you think of it?

Tom Ford Orchid Soleil is from £54.00 for 30ml at .

Valentines Luxury Gift Guide

Posted on February 10, 2016

valentines-luxury-gift-guide

Hi Guys!

Following on from yesterday’s Affordable Valentine’s Gift Guide, I’ve now gathered together some gorgeous, high end and slightly more expensive beauty treats for you perusal today… enjoy!

The 001 Skincare Hydro Sensitive Replenish Duo (£59.00) contains a 30ml bottle of Rosa Damascena Essence Mist, and 15ml of Active Marine Power Concentrate – presented in a lovely gold clutch bag. These products are perfect for soothing and hydrating dry and sensitive skin. The Rosa Damascena Essence Mist instantly gives skin a burst of moisture, and its blend of 98% Rosa Damascena Flower Oil and Flower Water works as a powerful astringent to reduce inflammation and redness. Just spritz this on for a complexion that’s soothed, hydrated and brightened. The Active Marine Power Concentrate is a super-concentrated serum containing an algae complex to intensively moisturise skin and aid water retention inside our skin’s cells, for a collagen-plumping effect. Its antioxidant rich complex also helps intensively repair and brighten the complexion.

The  (£40.00) really is a beauty to behold, from the packaging to the actual product, this stunning palette would make the perfect gift. It contains four eye shadow shades including a luminising base to highlight, two buildable colours to add shape and an intense colour to define. This is available in a variety of options, but Nude Blush really caught my eye. Its muted warm spring shades are perfect for those with fairer skin tones like myself.

For those looking to warm up dull winter complexions – i.e. me,  (£36.50) is a must have. This is a three-in-one product combining the perfection of foundation with the effect of a skincare product, and the sun-kissed radiance of Terracotta. My complexion often hovers on the dull side of normal, so any products that can make me look a bit brighter and more alive are definitely makeup bag staples for me! This product gives skin a fabulous warming veil of colour, leaving your complexion looking more even and naturally radiant.

And of course I had to include a candle! The  (from £28.00) really is a must have for Valentine’s day. Diptyque have teamed up with quirky French fashion designer Olympia Le-Tan to create their limited edition Valentines collection, which includes candles, a scented oval and a solid perfume. The candle is housed in a cuter than cute frosted barbie pink glass, with the sweetest embroidered fabric label – sealed with a kiss. I love that this candle conveys a sense of humour and fun, and it also smells wonderful, with notes of rose, violet, lipstick and leather – just like the inside of a handbag, amazing!

Back to Guerlain again, the Guerlain Precious Light Illuminator (£32.00) is also a fantastic high end product. Similar to YSL’s Touche Eclat, this pen style illuminator is designed to minimise imperfections whilst maximising radiance. This product aimed to erase traces of fatigue with luxurious Gold Radiance Pigments and the Precious Rejuvenating Complex, to offer skin a natural looking glow. The formula contains Myrrh Oil, known for its regenerating properties, and Peptides to lift and smooth.

Next is  (£38.00) Tom Ford’s lipsticks really are the height of luxury, and this beautiful shade Scarlett Rouge is perfect for Valentine’s day. I know £38.00 is a heck of a lot to spend on a single lipstick, and definitely not something I’d buy every day, but I can promise you once you try Tom Ford lippies, you won’t look back! (I also have my eye on the  too!)

And lastly what would Valentine’s day be without a gorgeous fragrance?  (from £52.00) is a new favourite of mine. It’s a citrus, aromatic scent which is surprisingly unisex – and I say surprisingly because I’m usually not keen on unisex fragrances but I think this is rather lovely. Eau De Cartier is definitely more on the feminine side; it’s warm and fresh, yet sensual and sophisticated. It has top notes of Coriander, Yuzu and Bergamot, heart notes of Violet Leaf and Lavender and base notes of Cedar, Patchouli, Musk and White Amber.

I’d love to hear if any of these take your fancy? I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

A Few High End Beauty Treats…

Posted on January 18, 2016

high-end-beauty-treats

Hi Guys!

Now I love nothing more than snapping up some amazing sale bargains over the Chrismtas period – 75% off you say? I’ll take 12 of them, thanks. But last years sales seemed to be bit underwhelming really, there was nothing with as much as 30% off to catch my eye. So what did I do? Well I did the obvious thing and bought a Tom Ford palette for full price at £64.00, that’s what I did. Of course Tom Ford products never come up in any sales, so I just took the plunge and picked up Nude Dip, which is possibly the most gorgeous eyeshadow palette I’ve ever seen. And while I was in the mood for spending, I may have purchased a few other bits and pieces too…

high-end-beauty-haul

All totally necessary of course. I went on a bit of a spending spree in my , first picking up the Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter, which is just beautiful. I then got my mitts on the beautiful Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow Highlighter Trio too, YESSS! And while I was there I also bought a couple of mini Lorac palettes from the same seller. When in Rome and all that.

neroli-blanc-intense-perfume

I also wanted to include the most gorgeous perfume that I received for Christmas. This is Neroli Blanc Intense, and It. Is. Amazing. I first discovered this in my first ever Bloom Perfumery subscription packet, and I knew I’d have to get my mitts on it sooner or later!

tom-ford-nude-dip-palette

I’ve had my eye on Tom Ford’s Nude Dip palette for quite a while. If my memory serves me correctly, this was originally a limited edition product, which was then added to the main line. And I’m SO glad it was. It’s just the most stunning palette. The shades are to die for, they’re just gorgeous every-day colours that would suit pretty much everyone. As you know, this did cost a purse-clenching £64, but I have no regrets!

becca-jaclyn-hill-palette

Next the Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter (shown in top image only) and the Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow Trio. Becca’s collaboration with Jaclyn Hill really has done everything for the brand. People are going highlighter crazy – including myself. I was so excited when I saw somebody was selling the Champagne Pop highlighter (lightly used) in my beauty swaps and sales group, I snapped it up straight away. Then, by some stroke of luck the Champagne Glow Trio Palette came up too, this time brand new and unused. This palette was a limited edition over the Christmas period, and available in the US only, so I’m beyond happy that I grabbed this too!

lorac-metallic-palette

I also picked up the Lorac Matte and Metallic mini palettes from the same seller. Lorac palettes have been on my wish list for a while so I thought this was the perfect chance to try a couple of them out – at a very reasonable price too.

sigma-lip-switch-flip-flop-review

And lastly, I also treated myself to a Sigma Lip Switch in Pink Lotus. This is an amazing light-weight lip gloss with the most intense holographic finish – it’s right up my street!

I’ll be putting together full review posts for these products over the next couple of weeks, I’d love to hear if you’ve tried any of them? xxx

The Autumn Beauty Edit

Posted on November 17, 2015

autumn-beauty-products

Hi Guys!

I’m not sure where the year has gone but somehow it’s already mid November. We’re in the full swing of autumn, and over recent weeks I’ve noticed the makeup products I’ve been reaching for have gradually been changing. This wasn’t a conscious decision at all. I’ve just recently noticed the colours in my makeup bag have definitely changed with the season.

So I thought I’d gather together some of my current favourite seasonal shades to show you, some are old favourites, and some are brand new discoveries which I love. Enjoy!

autumn-lipsticks

autumn-lipstick-swatches

Firstly, let’s look at the lipsticks! I just love autumnal browns, pinks and mauves. These shades of lipstick can easily take your look from summer to autumn with just one product. Here are some of my favourites –

  • Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick in Kin. This beautiful shade is from the Earth collection, it’s an intense burnt red shade that reminds me of autumn leaves. I really need to pick up more Illamasqua lipsticks because the formula really is excellent, you get fantastic pigmentation with a long-lasting smooth satin finish.
  • Tom Ford Lips & Boys in Guillermo – Ahh Tom Ford, the king of lipsticks. Guillermo is one of the shades I picked up when the Lips & Boys collection first launched, and it’s just beautiful. I love wearing this with a full on smokey eye for an evening vampy look.
  • MAC Lipstick in Fast Play – I love this shade so much, it’s completely underrated in my opinion. I actually discovered it when I was searching for the perfect lip shade to wear to my wedding. You can see my original post here for more pics.
  • – Clarins’ Jolie Rouge lipsticks have a beatufilly creamy and silky formula, with a semi sheer finish. Tea Rose is a pretty light pink that’s really easy to wear. This is a fantastic go-to everyday lipstick.

autumn-pencils

autumn-pencils-swatches

Next I have a selection of pencils, including three eyeliners and a lipliner…

  • – I actually received this mini eyeliner free with a Sephora order a while ago, and I’ve been in love with it ever since. Grey is a fantastic alternative to black eyeliner for a softer look, and Urban Decay’s Glide on Pencils are some of the best around.
  • – Ever since visiting the Pixi store in London for an event a few months ago, I’ve been loving their products and picked up a few more of their amazing Silky Eye Pens. The shade Deep Plum is a lovely shade that catches the light beautifully giving a hint of metallic purple.
  • Kiko Colour Definition Eyeliner in 02 – If you’re a regular reader you’ll know I love Kiko products, and this beautiful and unusual shade of eyeliner is from the Rebel Romantic collection. Shade 02 is a deep warm brown, with the tiniest hint of reddish purple. It’s a creamy matte shade that’s perfect for wearing every day.
  • Borneo is a lovely warm lipliner which I’ve found myself reaching for lately. It has creamy formula that perfectly defines the lips while preventing lipstick from bleeding and feathering throughout the day.

autumn-lip-colours

autumn-liquid-lip-colours

And a couple more beautiful lip colours…

  • – This is my first and only Kat Von D product, and I’m a little bit in love. Lolita is a stunning mauve that’s perfect for the 90’s lip trend that’s so popular at the moment, and it really is ever lasting! Make sure your lips are well prepared before application and this will literally last all day.
  • – Another recent discovery, the Urban Decay High Colour Lipglosses really give fantastic intense pigmentation for a gloss. The shade Liar is a gorgeous muted mid pink. It’s currently living in my bag as I wear it all the time!

Eye-of-Horus-Sheba-Mystical-Goddess-Eye-Shadow-Palette

Eye-of-Horus-Sheba-Mystical-Goddess-Eye-Shadow-Palette-swatches

And lastly the beautiful  –

I haven’t used Eye of Horus products for a while, but I have a few of their eyeliner pencils which are fantastic, so I was excited to see what their brand new eyeshadow palettes were like. And as expected, I wasn’t disappointed!

The gorgeous Mystical Goddess Eyeshadow Palette contains three intense metallic shades in a slimline cardboard palette with a double ended brush. The shades are: Artifact – ivory with golden nude undertones, Enchantress – bronzed shimmering nude and Royal Abyss – a deep royal plum.

They all have a stunning high metallic finish, and are soft, blendable and easy to work with. They can also be applied wet if you wish for a more intense look. I really am very impressed with this palette, I’ll be getting a lot of use out of it over the coming months no doubt!

I’d love to hear if you have any of these products? And what your go-to beauty products are for autumn?

beauty-products-for-gifts

Hi Guys!

If you’re looking to give (or receive, ahem) some gorgeous beauty products this Christmas, I’ve put together a nice little selection today to hopefully inspire you. This little lot would definitely be on my Christmas list if I didn’t have them already!

I’ve tried to include a range of high and, luxury and just beautiful products to suit all beauty fans, focussing on eyes and lips – Enjoy xx

laura-mercier-eye-chromes-packaging

laura-mercier-eye-chromes-palette

First up I have the stunning limited edition Laura Mercier Eye Chromes Palette (£32.00)

What a beauty hey! Laura Mercier products are always gorgeous so there’s no surprise there. This palette contains four beautiful eyeshadow shades in Iced Nickel, Purple Chrome, Blue Steel and Aluminum Grey.

These gorgeous jewel colours would be perfect for anyone who loves a more intense statement eye. The shades shimmer in the light and have a a unique and innovative pigment emulsion which gives a stunning foil effect when applied dry. You can also apply them wet for a super intense high coverage metal chrome effect, with a soft velvety finish.

lipstick-queen-tom-ford-lipsticks

This Lipstick Queen lipstick is literally ‘lipstick heavean’ in every way. Just look at the casing! It’s packed full of shiny silver glitter, and it just says ‘Christmas!’ to me!  collection (£24.00) contains four lipsticks with a silky, nourishing formula that gives a high shimmer molten metal finish. This shade is Paint The Town, a deep red with fuchsia pearls, and it’s just gorgeous.

I’m really loving darker red and mauve lip shades at the moment so I treated myself to this little Tom Ford beauty a few weeks ago. I’d been eyeing up the lipsticks on the Tom Ford counter for a while and finally thought I’d try a few out. I took the plunge and went for the  (£38.00) – this is a beautiful deep plum with the slightest hint of shimmer. It’s wonderfully creamy and gives a lovely glossy finish.

zoeva-rose-gold-palette

And I had to include the beautiful, and not to mention affordable  (EUR17.50)

I picked this up with the Rose Gold 2 Brush Sets when they were first released as I was just drawn to the stunning warm shades. I can tell you they did not disappoint. The palette is large, with large round pans, and contains ten beautiful matte, metallic and satin shades.

Now I know this isn’t the most ‘wintery’ palette in the world, but it’s just so pretty, I think any beauty lover would be thrilled to open this on Christmas day!

chantecaille-compact

chantecaille-chrome-luxe-eye-duo

The  (£48.00) is the perfect gift for any fan of luxury beauty.

I first became aware of Chantecaille a few years ago, when I treated myself to the Chantecaille Le Palette d’Olivia which cost me a pretty penny, but I didn’t mind because the quality was fantastic. Then pretty much straight away I managed to knock it off my coffee table, and most of the pans smashed. We don’t talk about that day…

Anyway, this sweet little Chantecaille duo is the perfect mini set to add to your makeup bag, it comes housed in high shine metallic gunmetal grey casing, with an internal mirror and two mini applicators. There are four different limited edition colour combinations to choose from, and I have Monte Carlo, which includes a pretty peachy pink and a warm mid brown shade. Both shadows have shimmer and offer a long wearing silky smooth stay-put application with a satin finish.

lipstick-queen

And I have another Lipstick Queen product for you, if you’re a fan of glosses this could be the perfect product for you – the  (£22.00)

The new Seven Deadly Sins collection contains seven intense gloss shades that are super lightweight whilst being full of pigment. I have Anger, a bright fiery red-coral shade – it’s perfect for a glossy statement lip! The texture is super silky with no stickiness, and the formula is enriched with Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Moadowfoam for comfort and to help condition the lips.

eye-products

And lastly, I’ve included a couple of fantastic lash products –  (£22.50) and  (£35.00)

I’ve been using this lash serum for a little while now and I really do think it’s starting to improve my lashes. Just a bit of background info here, my lashes are super short, and fine, and straight, and just everything you don’t want your lashes to be. So if a product promises to help lengthen and volumise, then I want to try it! Shiseido’s Full Lash Serum is formulated with natural ingredients to stimulate the growth of hair follicle cells, whilst conditioning the hair to retain moisture, and restoring damaged or snapped lashes caused by mascara use. Fingers crossed I’ll have full fluttery lashes in no time!

And Lancome’s Hypnose Volume A Porter Mascara really does everything it’s supposed to, giving instant volume with a no flake formula. This is easily one of the best mascaras I’ve used recently. I use two or three coats to give volume, and I love that it doesn’t clump or feel heavy, and you can build it up as much you wish. This definitely gets top marks from me!
