ASOS House of Hackney Exclusive Preview!

Posted on November 16, 2013

Hi Guys!

Today I thought I’d let you know about ASOS’s latest collaboration with East London label House of Hackney. As an ASOS Insider we get exclusive access and previews of up and coming collections, which I can share with you guys! How cool is that!

‘The interiors-led fashion brand mixes traditional prints with bold, non-conformist designs to pack a serious fashion punch. Launching end of November, ‘Dalston Tart’, the new House of Hackney x ASOS 18-piece collection will mix House of Hackney’s signature London Rose print with the punk sensibility of tartan, keeping silhouettes youthful and minimalist.’

I love the contrasting combination of floral prints and tartan, hand on heart I previouly haven’t been a fan of tartan, but I actually love the edgy look of this collection!

Here are some if my favourite images from the lookbook –

H&M New Collections!

Posted on March 22, 2013

Well it looks like the peeps at H&M have been busy little bees lately. First they launch , (I have apparently, been living under a rock for a while because I hadn’t actually heard of this until recently) This store is, completely tres chic. I don’t think I could actually love it more. The styling and photography are innovative and really maximise the products potential; I find myself looking through the site piecing together imaginary outfits with accessories and bags, more so than I do with any other online store. The jewellery is one of my favourite departments on the site, I love the simple shapes, and bold, sculptural styles.

Rhinestone Ring, £12

Twin Chain Bracelet, £10

Pendant Bracelet, £17

Next we have the H&M Conscious Collection. This collection is part of H&M’s work towards a more sustainable future in fashion. This year’s collection is at the forefront of both fashion and sustainability and inspired by delicate floral prints and soft shades of green for spring. I particularly like the new Conscious Exclusive partywear range, which will be launched later this spring. This collection focusses on glamorous partywear in muted pastel shades.

Next we have the H&M New Icons Collection. This collection was created based on the street style of models , ,  and . I’m really looking forward to this collection, described as a 20-item capsule collection of fashion essentials, the range comprises a mixture of influences – taken from the individual styles of each girl – allowing shoppers to create their own model-off-duty look.

And finally, of course, Beyonce for H&M!! We’ve had Rihanna for River Island so it only makes sense for H&M to follow suit and pull out the Beyonce trump card! I was quite disappointed by the Rihanna collection, so hopefully Beyonce’s collection will be a bit more bootylicious!! 😀

Dirty Thirty and OOTD

Yesterday I went to Biddy’s Tea Room  with some friends for a surprise gathering of afternoon tea for my good friend Brookie’s 30th birthday!

Biddy’s is a beautiful vintage themed tea room in the centre of Norwich, they sell fabulous homemade cakes, scones and sandwiches. You can even have a mad hatters tea party and Biddy’s will provide you with vintage hats to dress up in!

Apart from the cake (of course) my favourite thing was the Norfolk ham, brie and chilli jam sandwiches, it was a taste sensation! 😀

My outfit:  Neon Aztec Snood (now out of stock),  Vest, Next Bootcut Jeans, Zara Leather Jacket (last season) Schuh Pluto Ankle Boots, Balenciaga Giant Gold Velo Bag.

We then took Claire for a look round the shops, while two of the others crept back to her house to decorate it before we came back 🙂

I bought these lovely Aztec Mocassin Flats from Schuh for £28

And this awesome acid wash denim shirt with silver studs and spikes from Primark for £13, what a bargain!!

So I decided to wear it for our night out (with Lime Crime Centrifuchsia Lipstick and a vintage necklace)

We hit the town in our party outfits, sporting Dame Edna style wacky shades, we couldn’t see a thing and drank way too much, it was a great night!!

Happy birthday Brookie! xxxxx

(Don’t forget I’m also running a giveaway on my  page to win a silver necklace!)

I <3 Fierce Jewellery @Topshop!

Ok I have a thing about fierce jewellery, the bigger the studs and the pointier the spikes the better. If it looks like it’ll take your eye out then I’ll love it!

I thought I’d share a few of my favourite pieces that Topshop has to offer at the moment.

Prices range from arond £7.50 for a ring, up to £30 for some of the bigger necklaces. Not exactly cheap, but they won’t break the bank either!

I took advantage of Topshop’s sale earlier this year and stocked up on a ton of bracelets! (and a couple of necklaces) I spent just over £30 and got £110 worth of jewellery!

YAY!!! 😀
