Ten Brand New Fragrances To Try: Paco Rabanne / Michael Kors / Moschino / L’Occitane / Calvin Klein

Posted on June 29, 2018

Happy Friday! I hope you’re making the most of this fabulous weather we’re having? Today I’ve gathered together a selection of new fragrances that have either recently launched, or will be on sale very soon. Enjoy!

Let’s start off with one of my favourite scents today – . I’ve been a fan of Olympia for a long time, and their latest Aqua version is a beautifully luminescent, sparkling re-edition of the signature fragrance. Olympia Aqua is light yet sensual, soft and addictive, opening with notes of Calamondin and Cashmeron, leading to a heart of Lemon Blossom and sensual, Salty Vanilla, and a warming base of Hydroponic Jasmine and Ambergris – this scent is a must-try this summer.

Next I have . Soft, feminine and delicate, Sheer combines soothing herbal notes with rich florals and woodsy musk, to conjure moments of sheer intimacy. Enveloped by top notes of Bergamot and Tarragon, this luxurious blend is invigorated with hints of fresh Peony, Jasmine petals and smooth white Cedarwood for a subtly alluring finish.

  • Top Notes: Bergamot, Tarragon, and Green Leaves.
  • Heart Notes: Peony, Orange Blossom Absolute, and Jasmine Petals.
  • Base Notes: Cashmere Wood, Musk, Amber Accord, and White Cedarwood.

I also have the gorgeous  – can I just start by mentioning the bottle, it’s completely mad and I love it! In case you weren’t sure, So Real is inspired by Popeye’s other half, Olive Oyl. The bottle, reminiscent of a Picasso painting, was designed by Moschino’s artistic director Jeremy Scott, and as you can probably guess, the fragrance is described as ironic, fun and joyful!

The opening of So Real is sharp and bright, with citrus notes of Bitter Orange and Mandarin, as well as juicy Raspberry and Blackcurrant Sorbet. The vibrant floral heart of faceted Pink peony, airy Jasmine, and Magnolia Blossoms leads to a wonderful base of Cedar, Oak Musk and Ambrosian Crystals. This really is a gorgeous summer fragrance, definitely not one to overlook! Also it’s currently a complete steal at only £14.50! Check the link above 🙂

is a modern feminine interpretation of a traditional floral, with a burst of freshness conveyed through the Sky of the Sky Accord and a dense sexiness with a Cedarwood base. It’s a cool, bright, and refreshing scent, almost unisex, and perfect for those looking for something light and invigorating.

  • Top Notes: Grapefruit Oil, Black Currant Absolute, Sky of the Sky Accord
  • Heart Notes: Peony, Muguet, Pear Accord
  • Base Notes: Cedarwood Oil, Ambergris, Skin Musk

& Other Stories Moroccan Tea – Ok so I must admit, I was sent this to try and I thought it was a new fragrance, but it’s actually not! Never mind hey! Moroccan Tea is an oriental woody fragrance, with top notes of Cardamom, Mint and Lemon, a heart of Orange Blossom, Mate and Almond, and a base of Cedar, Sandalwood, Musk and Brown Sugar. It’s quite an unusual fragrance that’s definitely worth a look next time you’re visiting & Other Stories stores.

 – luminous and alluring, sweet and sensual, Moonlight is surprisingly beautiful. The scent opens with notes of sparkling rich Black Currant and juicy Plum, while the super sweet heart of fluffy Marshmallow and fresh Peony add a captivating wink of intrigue and mystery. A final seductive touch of creamy Sandalwood, Black Amber and sensual Vanilla at the base leave you with a wonderfully warm and sensual dry down.

I also have the latest launch from Hollister –  is a wonderfully bright and juicy scent, perfect for daily wear this summer. Festival Vibes is a wonderfully lively scent, opening with sparkling Italian Bergamot, fresh Quince, and Goji Berries. The floral heart offers a lush layer of Pink Peony, delicate Osmanthus, Vanilla Orchid, and Coral Hibiscus. Finally, the dry down envelops you like a comforting blanket of Cashmere Moods, creamy Tonka, and soft Musk.

Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct Blue Women – Is definitely another favourite of mine, First Instinct Blue is a bright and energetic scent, radiating happiness, light and positivity. The fragrance opens with top notes of zesty Citrus Bergamia, juicy Blackcurrant, and refreshing Marine, leading to a sensual heart of velvety Apricot Nectar, Jasmine flowers and delicate Peonies. The base comprises of woody Patchouli, Creamy vanilla and Sandalwood for a rich and warm dry down.

First Instinct Blue Woman will be available nationwide from 30th July 2018.

If you’re looking for more of an evening scent,  is definitely worth checking out. Perfect for fans of oud, Terre De Lumiere Intense opens with the enchanting oriental scent of Incense, leading to a gourmand heart of aromatic Lavender, sweet Honey and Tonka. This harmony is prolonged by its warm base that leaves behind a woody trail of Cedarwood, spicy Oud which mingles with the softness of Vanilla.

And lastly, . Goya have recently re-launched a selection of fragrances from different eras, with Black Rose representing the fabulous fifties, an era of stunning beauty, elegance, and romance. This fragrance opens with a sparkling citrus Green Accord contrasted with Bergamot and Clove. The heart reaveals a fresh and feminine floral bouquet of Rose, Geranium, and Rose Damas enhanced by a confortable drydown of Jasmine, Salicylate and velvety Musk.

10 Spring Fragrances to add to your Collection: L’Occitane, Givenchy, Nina Ricci & More!

Posted on May 29, 2017

Hi Guys!

It’s a beautiful bank holiday (apart from an intense rain and thunder, but that’s to be expected, right?) and I’ve been playing in the garden with Fred whilst eating ice pops 🙂 I thought I’d take a breather and share with you my top ten must have fragrances for Spring 2017 – enjoy!

Starting with one of my absolute favourite fragrances of the last few months, L’Occitane Terre De Lumiere (£58.00 for 50ml at ) – this is L’Occitane’s latest fragrance release, and the name literally means “land of light”. Terre De Lumiere is L’Occitane’s first ever gourmand aromatic fragrance, consisting primarily of edible notes such as honey and almond. It’s a beautifully light and evocative fragrance that’s both warm and enveloping. Terre De Lumiere is inspired by the special time of day in Provence known as the Golden Hour, which is a short moment at dusk as the sun falls and the sky fills with golden and purple light, leaving the air filled with the most fragrant Provençal scents. It truly is a stunning scent, and I really can’t get enough of it!

  • Top Notes: Bergamot, Ambrette Seed and Pink Pepper.
  • Heart Note: Lavender Honey.
  • Base Notes: Acacia Flower, Bitter Almond Essence, Tonka Bean and White Musk.

Next, the beautiful Givenchy Live Irresistible EDT – (£43.00 for 40ml at ) This is actually my first experience with Givenchy fragrances, and hopefully not my last! Live Irresistible is a bright, floral and fruity fragrance, that’s perfect for every day wear. It opens with sparkling top notes of Crisp Pear, fresh Green Apple and juicy Raspberry, leading to tantalising Rose and energising Pimento Berries at the heart, just before the fragrances closes with a sensual base of Light Woods.

  • Top notes: Pear, green apple, raspberry
  • Middle notes: Rose, pimento berries
  • Base notes: Light woods

Moving on to something a little heavier now, Paco Rabanne Olympea Intense EDP (£46.00 for 30ml at ) This is a beautiful warm and sensual oriental fragrance, with a tempting salty-vanilla amber accord. The original Olympea fragrance is already a favourite of mine, so I just knew I’d love this more intense version. Olympea Intense is very similar to Olympea, but stronger, and definitely sweeter. This is a commanding and seductive fragrance that’s perfect for evening.

Olympea Intense takes centre stage with its famously tempting Salty-Vanilla Amber accord. At the heart of the fragrance, tactile Orange Blossom swathed in White Pepper creates intense sensuality, before diving headfirst into the extreme seduction of a White Amber base.

  • Top notes: White Pepper, Orange Flower and Grapefruit Flower.
  • Middle notes: Salty Vanilla.
  • Base notes: Cedarwood and White Amber.

Next we have Nina Ricci Luna EDT (£34.50 for 30ml at ) – this is an oriental gourmand fragrance that’s described as mysterious, daring and alluring. Luna opens with fruity notes of refreshing Lime and Tangerine which lead to a floral heart of Immortelle and Jasmine, sparking a vibrant burst of floral citrus. The fragrance is rounded off with a warming base of sweet Caramel and Vanilla, with notes of alluring Liquorice and Musk. I’ve worn this a couple of times now and it’s fast becoming a new favourite.

  • Top Notes: Wild Berries, Orange Blossom, Lime and Tangerine.
  • Heart Note: Caramel, Immortelle, Jasmine and Pear.
  • Base Notes: Sandalwood, Vanilla, Liquorice and Musk.

Next, Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection 2017 (£42.75 for 50ml at ) – I’m a big fan of Elie Saab fragrances so I was excited to try their latest scent – Resort Collection EDT is described as a luxurious white floral fruity fragrance, inspired by the glamorous world of the Cannes Film Festival. The fragrance opens with juicy Red Mandarin, leading to Orange Blossom, Jasmine and Pomegranate Nectar at the heart, and a rich base of smooth Patchouli.

  • Top Note: Red Mandarin.
  • Heart Notes: Orange Blossom, Jasmine and Pomegranate Nectar.
  • Base Note: Patchouli.

On to Jo Malone Garden Lilies (£46.00 for 30ml at ) – this is one of four fragrances in the ‘Bloomsbury Set’, which as a collective were inspired by the free spirited group of artists of the same name. The scents aim was to capture the essence of an unconventional life in their legendary country house in Sussex…’The lily pond at dawn, bold blue hyacinth, absinthe afternoons and golden linseed on paint-stained hands. Warming whisky and sweet pipe tobacco. The secrets of waxed floors burnished by footsteps in the night.’

Garden Lilies is a wonderfully fresh floral that truly captures the essence of a new dawn – I know that sounds completely cheesy but it really does! The fragrance opens with Water Lily, an aquatic floral with a wonderful dewy softness, and the floral heart of Green Sap and Ylang Ylang leads to a base of powdery and clean White Musk, with a hint of Vanilla.

  • Top Notes: Water Lily.
  • Heart Note: Green Sap and Ylang Ylang.
  • Base Notes: White Musk and Vanilla.

Next we have MissGuided Babe Power EDP (£25.00 for 80ml at ) – I feel like this fragrance is quite the opposite of the above Garden Lilies which is quite delicate and nuanced. Babe Power is just as confident and in-your-face as you’d expect. This is MissGuided’s first scent, and it’s the perfect embodiment of the MissGuided brand – designed to evoke a feeling of strength, confidence and femininity.

  • Top Notes: Grapefruit Zest, Sour Cherry, Pink Pepper, Crisp Apple, Pineapple and Rhubarb.
  • Heart Notes: Orange Blossom, Peony and Jasmine.
  • Base Notes: Vanilla, Candy Floss, Sensual Musk, Amber Crystals.

Now on to the most affordable of the bunch, & Other Stories Crinoline Violet (£19.00 for 50ml at Other Stories Stores) – yes this is technically a body fragrance, but I wanted to include it anyway as it’s such a lovely scent. Crinoline Violet is one of two new body fragrances in the popular Cotton Care range. It caresses the skin with it’s soft gentle touch, infused with hints of Violet for a dreamy Cotton scent – this fragrance is calm, kind and easy-going.

Next I have a brand you don’t really hear of that often when it comes to fragrance – Abercrombie & Fitch first Instinct for Women (£50.00 for 50ml at ) – First Instinct was inspired by the first moment of attraction, when two people’s worlds collide and a spark is ignited. It is the fragrant interpretation of that exciting first glance and initial connection. First Instinct for Women is a very feminine scent, that’s fruity, floral and fun. It’s both sweet and juicy and perfect for wearing both day and evening.

  • Top Notes: Magnolia, Grapefruit Zest, Passion Fruit and Wild Orange Flower
  • Heart Notes: Butterfly Orchid and Water Lily.
  • Base Notes: Warm Amber, Tonka and Musk.

And lastly, not a fragrance to be overlooked, Hollister Wave 2 (£32.00 for 50ml at ) – this is a gorgeous summery scent inspired by the Californian skies – it’s warm, free-spirited, fun and exciting. This sun-kissed creation entices you from the first impression with sunlit Peach, refreshing Coconut Water and sparkling Mandarin. Exotic Tiare Flower, Water Lily and Pink Freesia float in the air with a dreamy and addictive trail of White Sands, Driftwood and Vanilla Orchid. In my opinion this is definitely must-try scent.

  • Top Notes: Mandarin Orange, Coconut Nectar and Peach.
  • Heart Note: Water Lily, Pink Freesia and Tiare Flower.
  • Base Notes: Driftwood, Sand and Orchid.

Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you enjoyed my post. Id love to hear if you’ve tried any of these fragrances? xxx

Fragrance: Paco Rabanne Monopoly Collectors Editions For Him & Her

Posted on May 26, 2017

Hi Guys, Happy Friday!

If you’re familiar with Paco Rabanne’s cult fragrance Lady Million, you’ll know it’s one of those classic scents that you can just go back to time and time again. Paco Rabanne has recently teamed up with everyone’s favourite board game, Monopoly, to bring you limited edition collectors bottles of both Lady Million and 1 Million for him, inspired by the iconic game.

I know your first thought might be ‘Why Monopoly?’ – on the face of it, it does appear slightly an odd pairing – a fragrance brand with a board game? But you may remember the iconic advertising campaign for 1 Million a few years ago, featuring a slick looking guy clicking his fingers in time to music with clips of luxurious items appearing to fall at his feet. The ad starts with a pair of dice thrown on to a table; there’s also a sports car, a holdall of cash – you get the idea. When you look at it like this, I think Monopoly ties in perfectly with the 1 Million and Lady Million branding.

I should point out that both flankers hold the original Lady Million and 1 Million fragrances, so it’s just the containers and outer packaging that’s limited edition. In case you’re not familiar with these fabulous scents, I’ll give you a bit of an overview –

Lady Million EDP is a fresh, woody floral fragrance, that’s undeniably both glamorous and sexy, designed to make any woman feel a million dollars.

The fragrance is inspired by wealth, power and gold, featuring top notes of Raspberry, Amalfi Lemon and Neroli, leading to a heart of Gardenia, African Orange Flower and Jasmine and a base of White Honey Patchouli and Amber. The result is fresh and playful fragrance, making Paco Rabanne Lady Million a tempting and seductive scent.

  • Top Notes: Raspberry, Amalfi Lemon and Neroli.
  • Heart Notes: Gardenia, African Orange Flower and Jasmine.
  • Base Notes: White Honey Patchouli and Amber.

Lady Million EDP Monopoly Collectors Edition is £75.00 for 80ml.

And 1 Million for men is a fresh and spicy fragrance with notes of Mandarin, Cinnamon and Leather. This fragrance is extravagant, confident, bold and daring.

Paco Rabanne 1 Million EDT is an iconic male fragrance representing the power, luxury and wealth of the modern man. 1 Million opens with top notes of Grapefruit, Mint and Blood Mandarin, with warming Cinnamon, Rose and Spice at the heart, and Leather, Amber and Patchouli to round off the base.

  • Top Notes: Grapefruit, Mint and Blood Mandarin.
  • Heart Notes: Cinnamon, Rose and Spice.
  • Base Notes: Leather, Amber and Patchouli.

1 Million for Men Monopoly Collectors Edition is £64.50 for 100ml

Paco Rabanne’s Lady Million and 1 Million limited edition collectors Monopoly fragrances are available now at  (which currently has 10% off)

The Prettiest Fragrances for your Dressing Table

Posted on August 20, 2016

Hi Guys!

Obviously perfume is all about the scent – but you must admit a pretty bottle really doesn’t go amiss! I love nothing more that displaying my most beautiful perfume bottles like trophies – does anyone else do this?? I thought I’d put together some of my more fabulous ones to share with you today –

The-Prettiest-Fragrances-for-your-Dressing-Table

Starting with Capri Vince Camuto EDP – this is actually my first experience of Vince Camuto fragrances, and I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. When I took the bottle out of the box I was wowed by how unusual it was. The bottle itself is a curious hexagonal shape, with a striking ocean blue hue. The lid has an intricate cut out detail almost like abstract leaves, and the bottle is finished off with a delicate blue bow and silver charm around the neck.

A wanderlust at heart, the Capri Vince Camuto woman is in love with the world and all it has to offer. When she’s travelling, colours seem brighter, sounds sharper, senses ignited with a zest for life. No matter where she goes, Capri Vince Camuto is her passport to adventure, a reminder of spontaneous summer days and sultry nights.

Capri Vince Camuto is a warm, yet fresh and invigorating fragrance – reflecting the coastal landscape and waters of Capri, Italy. The scent’s top notes of Pear and Pink Grapefruit mingle with a floral bouquet of Peach Blossom and Violet Flower at the heart, leading to a rich base of Musk and Vanilla. Like a cool Mediterranean breeze, this floral-fruity fragrance transports your senses. Imagine the warmth of sun-kissed skin, with the freshness of a cool breeze on the skin.

  • Top Notes: Violet Leaves, Juicy Pear, and Pink Grapefruit.
  • Heart Notes: Red Frangipani, Peach Blossom, and Violet Flower.
  • Base Notes: Musk and Vanilla.

Capri Vince Camuto is £55.00 for 100ml at .

The-Prettiest-Fragrances-for-your-Dressing-Table-2

Next Chloe Love Story EDT – this is just such a classic, pretty and feminine fragrance, and the bottle reflects this perfectly –

…In the palm of her hand, a lucky charm. A padlock, universal symbol of love, a treasured emblem of the maison Chloé. A glass jewel adorned with grooves that evoke the pleats in a wispy dress. In the middle, safely protected, a concentrate of this tenderly rosy fragrance that she keeps with her at all times. Its elegant matte white case, embossed with gold letters, is circled with a delicate pink ribbon that holds the finest present: a love story, refreshing and sincere….

Love Story EDT is basically a fresher and more floral version of the original EDP. It’s romance in a bottle! The scent opens with fresh and floral Orange Blossom, mingling with green Prunus Flower and a dewy floral accord. This fragrance is pretty, carefree, fresh and feminine.

  • Top Notes: Orange Blossom.
  • Heart Notes: Fresh Prunus Leaf.
  • Base Notes: Dewy Notes.

Chloe Love Story EDT is from £41.50 for 30ml at .

And Narciso Rodriguez Narciso Poudree EDP – now this is a wonderfully powerful and seductive fragrance. “NARCISO eau de parfum Poudrée is sensuality and supreme femininity,” says the designer, “It is never overpowering, but impossible to forget.” The bottle, however is quite understated. The simple square shape made with delicate blush pink glass represents a sophisticated elegance that’s modern yet soft in appearance. This scent is perfect for those looking for something intense, evocative and distinctive…

NARCISO eau de parfum Poudrée embodies a discreet luxury with an intimacy that lingers on a woman’s skin leaving a silken trail. Skin and scent become one and the same, radiating beauty and grace. The fragrance leaves a deep impression as the fragrance dissolves into a woman’s skin and as a memory that lingers.

  • Top Notes: Bulgarian rose, White Jasmine and Orange Blossom.
  • Heart Notes: Musk.
  • Base Notes: Vetiver, Cedar, Coumarin and Patchouli.

Narciso Rodriguez Narciso Poudrée EDP is from £38.50 for 30ml at .

The-Prettiest-Fragrances-for-your-Dressing-Table-chloe-paco-rabanne

And lastly Paco Rabanne Olympea Aqua EDT – I haven’t tried any new Paco Rabanne fragrances for a really long time, so I was excited so see what the new Olympea Aqua would be like. Firstly, the bottle is stunning! Just like the original Olympea fragrance, Olympea Aqua has the same shaped bottle – based on a laurel crown it makes you think of a modern greek goddess, but this time the glass is frosted.

Paco Rabanne brings back the trend of aquatic fragrances with editions inspired by the athletic spirit, competition and victory, Invictus from 2013 and Olympéa from 2015. The new releases Invictus Aqua and Olympéa Aqua further emphasize the aquatic character of these compositions.

Olympéa Aqua opens with the freshness of Calabrian bergamot, aquatic accords and Petitgrain that lead to the heart of Ginger Flower. The power of the fragrance is reflected in the base of Salted Vanilla, Ambergris and Cashmere Wood.

  • Top Notes: Calabrian bergamot, Water Notes and Petitgrain.
  • Heart Notes: Ginger flower.
  • Base Notes: Vanilla, Salt, Ambergris and Cashmere Wood.

Paco Rabanne Olympea Aqua EDT is £53.50 for 50ml at .

Posted on June 9, 2016

fathers-day-gift-guide

Hi Guys!

Father’s Day has managed to sneak up on us once again, so I’ve taken the liberty of putting together a few luxury gift ideas for you. There’s some gorgeous fragrances in today’s post, skincare products and even plants – enjoy!

paco-rabanne-and-acqua-di-parma

Starting with a gorgeous and reasonably affordable fragrance, this striking trophy shaped bottle contains Paco Rabanne’s Invictus (which is Latin for invincible) – it’s described as a fresh and sporty fragrance, representing power, dynamism and energy.

The fragrance opens with fresh grapefruit and a marine accord that leads to the heart of aromatic bay leaf and jasmine, and a woody base of guaiac wood, patchouli, oak moss and ambergris…

  • Top notes: Grapefruit, Mandarin Orange, and Marine Accords.
  • Heart notes: Bay Leaf and Jasmine.
  • Base notes: Guaiac Wood, Oakmoss, Patchouli and Ambergris.

Paco Rabanne Invictus is from £42.00 for 50ml EDT, and available now at .

And for the discerning gent, how about the Collezione Barberie collection from Acqua Di Parma? This collection contains products, treatments and accessories created for discerning men who are meticulous with their skincare regime. Men who project their individuality and style through the perfect shave or a perfectly groomed beard.

Acqua di Parma have just expanded its Collezione Barbiere collection with three new and exclusive products – a Revitalizing Eye Serum, a Beard Serum, and a Deluxe Brush & Razor Stand –

The Revitalizing Eye Serum (£39.00 for 15ml) is the perfect product to soften and soothe the delicate skin around the eyes. Its formula reduces signs of early ageing, and this combined with the delicate massage provided by the cool steel of the roll-on dispenser ensures a fresh and relaxed look around the eye. This fresh and elegant gel has a silky texture, it’s pleasant and practical to use, and it is quickly absorbed into the skin.

And the Beard Serum (£30.00 for 30ml bottle) its formula is fluid and light, enriched with sweet almond oil and grapeseed oil extracts that act in synergy for a deep soothing action. The result is a glossy, silky and smooth beard.

You can shop the Acqua Di Parma Collezione Barbiere range at  now.

beetle-trinket-tray

And how awesome is this Beetle Trinket Tray from ?  I love that it looks really fancy, but it actually costs only £10.00 – what a steal! Perfect for the dad that’s forever losing his keys, leaving piles of change laying around the house (like my husband does) and generally just needs a place he can put his bits and bobs.

clean-reserve-and-van-cleef-and-arples

I have a couple more gorgeous fragrances too – firstly we have Clean Reserve Smoked Vetiver. I initially received this to try myself, as I loved the sound of it, but even though this fragrance is for both men and women, I found it was too masculine for me – but my husband loves it!

Each Clean Reserve fragrance was created to be dynamic and evoke, not memories of the past, but possibilities and experiences yet to be discovered. Each is linear without much movement from top to bottom, making it ideal for layering and blending.

Smoked Vetiver has a smoky sweetness that’s fresh, inviting, and sexy. It’s light and fresh when worn alone, but can also be paired with Sueded Oud to transform it into an irresistible sensual experience.

  • Top notes: Lemon Verbena, Bamboo Leaf, Bergamot, Quince and Pear.
  • Heart notes: Cedar, Cotton Flower and Peony.
  • Base notes: Moss, Amber, Musk, Vetiver, Woody Notes and Myrrh.

Clean Reserve Smoked Vetiver is £79.00 for 100ml at .

And Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight Patchouli – this is the latest addition to the Collection Extraordinaire range, where each fragrance is dedicated to a single raw ingredient. Moonlight Patchouli is obviously based around Patchouli, which is both powerful and earthy – its scent releases a wonderful freshness that appeals to both men and women.

The fragrance opens with woody patchouli accented with cocoa, leading to a floral heart of Bulgarian rose and powdery iris. The base note reveals a suede accord, adding a leathery and fruity quality to prolong the trail…

  • Top Notes: Patchouli, Cocoa and Woods.
  • Heart Notes: Bulgarian Rose and Iris.
  • Base Notes: Suede, Leather and Fruit.

Interestingly, though this fragrance sounds quite feminine with the floral notes, on the skin, it actually offers woody and leathery notes for him, and a powdery floral signature for her, making it unisex in a very individual way, and therefore able to be enjoyed by everyone.

Moonlight Patchouli is £126.00 75ml EDP and currently available at .

focus-therapy-balm-review

Next, I have something a little different. I came across the brand Scentered on Space NK when I was perusing their sale earlier this year, and I noticed their Focus Therapy Balm – this is a stimulating balm to clear the head, awaken the senses and focus the mind…

Apply Focus Therapy Balm before an important meeting, event, sports match, exam, performance or whenever else you need to be mentally alert, fully present and engaged. Focus helps you adopt the right frame of mind to perform to the best of your ability.

It’s quite hard to describe the fragrance of this product, it’s quite herbal, with notes of Peppermint, Rosemary Leaf, Clary Sage, Spearmint and Bergamot, combined with a woody base of Cedarwood, Patchouli and Thyme. The product itself is a rich, nourishing balm that won’t leave your skin feeling greasy, whilst ensuring long lasting fragrance delivery. It aims to promote concentration and clarity of thought, wherever you are.

Scentered Focus Therapy Balm is £14.50 at

bloom-and-wild-succulents

And lastly, for those that love gardening and plants – this Succulent Trio from Bloom and Wild brings a bit of greenery into the home, and requires pretty much zero effort. The Jamie Trio of Succulents contains three succulents in a bed of moss, presented in a metal tray. They just need lightly misting with water once a week (with the mister provided) and Bob’s your uncle!

The Jamie Trip is £25.00 and will be available at Bloom & Wild from Friday 10th June.
