Beauty: Too Faced Peaches & Cream Collection

Posted on January 22, 2018

Hi Guys!

Before Christmas I was fortunate enough to be invited to the launch party for the brand new Too Faced store at Carnaby Street, London. This is pretty big news for the brand as it’s their first ever stand alone store worldwide – and the party was SO much fun! We got to check out loads of new products which are only available in the UK exclusively in store, and we were then transported (via rickshaw!) to the after party, it was the best night!

I was also given the most amazing goody bag at the event, containing absolutely loads of Too Faced products. The bag included pretty much the whole new Peaches & Cream Collection which I want to share with you today…

Starting with the (£33.00) – this gorgeous looking palette contains 12 matte eyeshadows in a selection of beautiful warm tones. The eyeshadow formula is infused with Too Faced’s exclusive Comfort Matte Technology, promising an easily bendable finish with intense colour payoff – and of course the whole palette smells of Peaches & Sweet Fig Cream! I’m so pleased that these eyeshadows applied just as nicely as I’d hoped – I won’t lie, the formula was a little on the stiff side, but not so bad that it caused a problem. If you’re looking for a warm toned matte-only palette this is definitely worth checking out.

I have a few of the cheek products too – the three above are all housed in similar peach shaped packaging, and all have a melting powder formula. This means they have a creamy texture which transforms into a lightweight powder on application. All three promise buildable, bendable colour, and have the same light peaches and cream scent.

The  in So Peachy (£25.00) can be used on both the face and lips, and I found it was easiest applied with fingers rather than a brush. The formula is creamy and velvety soft on the skin, giving a subtle and very pretty hint of colour on the cheeks. The  in Happy Face (£25.00) again has a creamy texture that turns powdery soft on application, and again I found application with fingers definitely worked the best. This highlighter is a light champagne colour, and gives a subtle shimmery highlight. And the  in Toasted Peach (£25.00) – just like the previous two, I applied this with my fingers but found this one a bit harder to work with. I felt like this was harder to blend out and look even, though somebody more skilled than me could probably make it work pretty easily!

If you prefer powder formulas to creams, Too Faced also have a (£25.00) which honestly is the prettiest product I’ve ever seen! The compact includes four blendable shades which combine to give a radiant complexion and a soft, flawless look. The compact has a light gold overspray, which only lasts for a few uses, and the actual product underneath has a really nice pearly satin finish with buildable colour that’s very flattering. This worked really well on my pale skin and gave my complexion a lovely natural looking glow.

And there’s also a (£25.00) – this is a translucent smoothing finishing powder with opal-correcting spheres to smooth harsh lines and blur imperfections. Though this powder appears peach coloured, it applies translucent and gives a super smooth, blurring effect that makes your skin look amazing! This powder also eliminates shine and just generally smoothes out the complexion – and I’m happy to say it doesn’t cling to dry areas. This is probably my favourite product out of the collection!

There is also a Peaches & Cream Foundation, which I don’t have, but I do have the (£20.00) – this is a universal peach tinted setting powder designed to brighten the skin and create a silky smooth matte canvas. This product is oil and shine free, transfer-resistant, and promises 14 hours of wear. The formula is talc based and is super finely milled, making it feel amazingly soft and silky on the skin, and thought it didn’t live up to the 14 hours as promised, a light dusting of this did keep my nose matte for over half the day, and it didn’t cling to my dry skin, so this is a winner in my books!

Now on to the (£27.00) – this is described as a refreshing, oil-controlling setting spray to keep makeup in place. It promises a matte finish, decreased shine and a soft-focus finish to blur imperfections, and it’s also supposed to last up to 16 hours. Again, the wear time has definitely been embellished here, but I did find that this gave my skin a lovely matte finish, which lasted around six hours or so.

And the (£27.00) – this is a cooling primer that helps to blur flaws and smooth the complexion with a brightening peach tint. It gives a soft-focus finish that’s lightweight and comfortable. It also promises 12 hours of shine control, which again I think is reaching a bit, but it is a nice primer that definitely gives your foundation a decent matte base.

And lastly, I have a couple of the (£19.00) – these lipsticks are of course packaged beautifully, and promise an intensely pigmented matte finish with eight hours of wear. The shades I have are Got Peach? a nude terracotta pink, and Where My Peaches At? which is a bright tangerine orange. Both shades are amazingly well pigmented and feel very comfortable and creamy on the lips. The finish isn’t a full on matte like you’d get with a liquid lipstick, but it’s still a very good demi-matte. These shades are really very nice but you’ll want to make sure your lips are in tip top condition before applying.

So what are my final thoughts? Well to begin with, the packaging is spot on. It’s cute, yet grown up and luxe feeling – definitely dressing table worthy. I absolutely loved the Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette, Sweetie Pie Bronzer and Peach Blur Finishing Powder, and I’d highly recommend these if you’re looking to pick up a couple of items from the collection. Nothing was hideously bad in my books, though a couple of products could have been slightly better in terms of formula – and as a final thought, you should just be wary if you’re sensitive to or just not keen on scented products, as the whole collection is scented, with some products stronger than others. Personally I love the peachy scent, and I definitely think this collection is worth checking out of you’re a fan of Too Faced!

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Beauty: NEW ASOS Own Brand Makeup Collection

Posted on October 27, 2017

Hi Guys!

ASOS have been going for years now, and I’ve been a fan from the very beginning (remember when it was As Seen On Screen, anyone?) So I’m truly excited that they’ve now, finally brought out their own range of makeup…

The ASOS beauty collection contains pretty much everything you could want or need in terms of colour makeup (there are no bases such as foundations and primers included in the collection at the moment) Also, the majority of products are priced at well under £10, with the exception of the Eyeshadow Palette which is still very reasonable at £12.00.

The ethos of the collection is simply fun – there are no rules or limits. The products are straightforward, with cute packaging. There’s no supersonic ingredients here, no anti-ageing, anti-wrinkle, plump this, hide that, this is just straightforward no-frills colour makeup, for anyone and everyone to use as they please – which I LOVE.

Experience a more playful reality with the new ASOS Make-Up collection. It’s time for a new perspective on beauty, free from rules, limits and stereotypes. Express another side of yourself every day with our vibrant matte lipsticks, contouring palettes and shimmery eyeshadows.

Starting with complexion products, I have the  (£8.50) – which are currently available in two colours, Boast and BulletProof. Both are medium shades which will suit both light and medium skin tones. Shade Boast is more golden toned with a very slight touch of golden shimmer, and Bulletproof has a slightly more reddish tone, with a matte finish. Both are incredibly soft and easy to buff into the skin – I like Boast especially as the golden tone really makes my skin look warm and glowy.

And I also have two of the (£8.00) – these are also currently available in two shades, Acceptance, which is a matte rose pink, and Unbothered which is a light creamy peach with more of a satin finish. Though both are nice, I found Acceptance to have a slightly stiffer formula, with Unbothered being easier to apply and blend. I hope ASOS will be bringing out more shades as I’m personally a big fan of more peachy / coral toned blushers.

Next I have the (£9.00) – again two shades are currently available, Tenacious and Flawed. Tenacious is the lighter shade, giving a lovely champagne glow, and Flawed is a golden bronze, perfect for deeper skin tones. Both give the skin a really nice glowy highlight that you can easily blend out for a natural look. I really like the smooth creamy formula, and the twist up stick applicator means you can directly apply to the face and blend in with a finger – easy!

I also have one of the (£6.50) – these nifty little pots contain a wax under the lid, which you apply to the skin first as an adhesive for your glitter, then you unscrew underneath to reveal your pot of loose glitter. I have shade Nonchalant, which is a lilac glitter with blue and green reflects. This glitter can be used on your face, body, nails and hair, and I must admit I was a bit unsure about the wax at first, but after trying it out it really does a great job of keeping the glitter in place.

For pencils, I have two eyeliners and two lipliners. The  (£5.00) come in two shades, Pushy and Grounded. Pushy is an intense matte black, and Grounded is a metallic chocolate brown. Both give creamy intense colour, which literally won’t move once they’re applied – and they also come with an in-built sharpener at the base of pencil which is awesome!

The (£5.00) are pretty similar, there are three shades available of which I have two, 1/2 Full, a bright red, and Sturdy which is a nude beige. In the same style as the eyeliners, they have a fine tip and come with a handy sharpener in the base of the pencil. The texture of the pencils is smooth and easy to apply without any dragging, and they’re also smudge proof.

Next the (£12.00) – there are four available at the moment, all in fairly muted, neutral tones. I have Strong, which is a palette of cool, smokey eyeshadows, including four shimmer and two matte shades. There’s not really too much you can say about this except the shadows are really nice, well pigmented and soft enough to apply well, but not so soft that you get fall out. This is a fab little palette, and small enough to pop in your handbag which is aways a point for me!

And I have to say I’m really loving the (£6.00) – I have shade Vigilant, which is a true gold with a metallic finish. It has a fine brush for detailed application (I just want to note that I’ve applied it quite thickly on my hand swatch above) and dries down to a high shine metallic finish that doesn’t budge.

I also have the  (£8.00, not shown) – this comes in one shade, Bossy which is a rich black colour. I have to say though the formula seemed good (not clumpy, coated well etc) I found the brush to be too big! The brush on this mascara is pretty massive, and too big for my stumpy little lashes unfortunately. If you’re a fan of a large mascara brush though, this could be perfect for you.

On to  (£7.00) now – ASOS have a selection of shades available in both Matte and Satin finishes. Above I have –

  • A Game – a matte orange red shade
  • Owned – an intense true red with a satin finish
  • Steely – a matte peachy pink
  • Out There – a matte bright orange

You can see by my swatches that the pigmentation is very impressive, both finishes give true, intense colour, as well as fantastic coverage. I’m now in love with Owned, it’s just such a beautiful shade, and the satin finish is super creamy and comfortable to wear. This is definitely my favourite!

And lastly the  (£7.00) – currently there are four shades available on the site, of which I have three. Prove It is the most gorgeous intense bright red shade, Overqualified is a pretty nude pink, and Immersed is a nude griege. The formula is thick and moussey, and not runny or liquid in any way. They dry down really quickly and leave lips with a super pigmented matte finish that lasts for hours.

Overall I’m incredibly impressed with the ASOS Makeup collection – apart from a couple of personal quibbles, everything really is fantastic. From the packaging to the formulas, ASOS really have hit the mark with these products – and with the price point being so reasonable too, they’re definitely worth checking out. If you’d like any further info or swatches (as I didn’t manage to include all of them) please just shout and I’ll be happy to help.

The above products are all available now exclusively at .

Beauty: Kiko Cosmetics Fall 2.0 Limited Edition Collection

Posted on October 12, 2017

Hi Guys!

I have one of Kiko Milano Cosmetics latest limited edition collections to share with you today – the Fall 2.0 Collection is inspired by Venice, the ultimate city of romance…

The collection captures the essence of the regal Baroque city and its many delights, through makeup products that reawaken an innate sensuality, with luxurious colours ranging from elegant nudes to romantic reds, decadent blues to purples and the most spectacular deep shades. The makeup looks are classic, skin is perfect and lips precisely defined. The gaze captures our attention with magnetic smoky eyes and deep colours. A high-performance collection where the mask, symbol of intriguing femininity, offers a new dimension to self-care, without sacrificing the intimacy of lace.

Starting with the Duo Bronzer in shade 01 Bright Life (£15.90) – I always love Kiko bronzers, whenever they bring out a new collection, their bronzers always seem to end up being one of my favourite products. This Duo Bronzer comprises of a pressed powder in two different yet complimentary colours and finishes, the main section has a texturised pattern embossed into the power and has a matte finish, and there’s a smaller section which is slightly lighter in shade, with a metallic finish.

The powder is wonderfully soft and easy to apply, and the formula contains Soft Focus properties to minimise imperfections. The first powder mattifies and perfects the complexion, whilst the metallic bronzer refines the look for a sophisticated, professional result, leaving skin looking radiant with a healthy glow. I love this shade, which is perfect for my pale skin, and though I’m not a massive fan of shimmer in bronzer, I like that you have the option here if you wish to use it.

Next the Duo Blush in 01 New Coral (£12.90) – much like the above bronzer, this blush is a ‘duo’ product, but this time rather than two different finishes, the blush includes two different shades, both with a matte finish.

I have the blush in shade 01 New Coral which includes a light peachy pink, and a more intense orange-coral shade. The formula is smooth and creamy on application, and thought it’s a powder, it has a lovely liquid finish, that’s easy to blend to look like a natural flush on the cheeks, or built up for a more intense look.

I also have the Magnetic Eyeshadow in shade 04 Purple Mind (£12.90) – this is a gorgeous metallic finish loose pigment eyeshadow that’s velvety to the touch and super smooth on application, as well as being intensely pigmented.

Interestingly there is a magnet placed in the base of the packaging, which shapes the pigment to give the wave like finish on the top. The magnet keeps this pattern even after you’ve used the product, and it also stops the pigment from falling out. I think this is kind of cool, but I’d also be interested to find out exactly how the pigment is magnetised!

I also have one of the Lip Stylos in shade 02 Modern Mauve (£9.90) – this shade really is gorgeous and perfect for autumn. Kiko’s lip Stylos just tick all the boxes for me – they’re creamy and smooth to apply, give fantastic pigmentation and last for hours. These are definitely worth a look if you’re on the hunt for a new affordable lipstick.

And lastly I have one of their Metallic Liners in shade 02 Be Gold (£5.90) – this is a bright metallic gold shade that can be used on the eyes, lips and face – I’m not sure I’d be using this on my lips personally, but I still love that this is a multi-use product allowing you to be as creative as you wish. This light gold shade is great for adding highlight to the inner corners of the eyes, or even under the brows or the cupids bow, and it’s also available in light rose pink and copper shades.

If you’d like to see swatches of anything or have any questions, please just shout 🙂

The Fall 2.0 collection is available at  now.

Beauty: NEW Guerlain Terracotta Products for SS17 #FeelTheSunAndFeelGood

Posted on July 12, 2017

Hi Guys!

If you’re a fan of Guerlain makeup and skincare, you’ll no doubt be aware of their famous Terracotta product range. For SS17, Guerlain have added a few fab new products to their Terracotta collection, including new collector’s items, basics and limited editions, that each promise to illuminate skin with a natural golden glow and revive its radiance…

In 2017, Terracotta has been reinvented and Guerlain has created must-have new products that leave us feeling good inside and out all year round, with or without the sun.  A collection offering a host of face and body rituals, allowing every woman to obtain a natural tan whenever she wishes – while waiting for the sun to appear or under its rays; adjust the intensity for made-to-measure colour; and choose a matte or shimmer finish.

Starting with Terracotta Jolies Jambes (£45.00) – literally meaning ‘pretty legs’, this is Guerlain’s first perfecting and blurring tinted fluid especially for legs. I’d describe the formula as a medium weight fluid, which gives the coverage of a light foundation. Shade Clair / Light which I have gives pale legs a beautiful natural looking glow, whilst instantly blurring away minor blemishes and skin imperfections. The idea kind of reminds me of Sally Hansen’s Airbrush Legs (which is a spray) – this however is a cream, and it has the most beautiful summery scent with notes of Vanilla and Tiare Flower – it really is gorgeous! The formula also resists sweat and rubbing and is transfer-proof, and to remove, you simply wash it away in the shower with soap.

For the body, I also have the Terracotta Nourishing Dry Oil (£41.50) – this is a lightweight dry oil for the face, body and hair. Again with the lovely Tiare Flower scent, the Terracotta Nourishing Dry Oil is enriched with Sweet Almond, Camelina and Limnanthus Seed Oil to soothe, protect and nourish skin, as well as a Tan Booster Complex to prepare and enhance the skin’s natural tan. Ideal for all skin types, the Guerlain Terracotta Nourishing Dry Oil promises to cocoon skin in intense nourishment.

Guerlain advises to apply a few drops to the face and body to give a satiny finish, or after sun exposure to enhance the skin’s natural tan. Or to use on hair, apply to the lengths for a wet-hair effect, or as a mask for intense nourishment.

I also have a couple of new Terracotta makeup products. For SS17, Guerlain has improved the formula of their limited edition Terracotta Sun Tonic Bronzing Powder (£36.50) so it’s now waterproof – meaning there’s no need to worry about your bronzer wearing off this summer. The delicately milled formulation creates an ultra-fine film to give skin a flawless finish, providing your complexion with long-lasting comfort and moisture, and it’s also been enriched with a Tan Booster Complex, to activate, boost and prolong your tan. I have shade 03 Natural Brunettes which is slightly too dark for my super fair complexion, but would be perfect for those with a light to medium skin tone.

And lastly, I have one of the new Kiss Kiss Shaping Cream Lip Colours (£27.50). Two bold new hues have been introduced to the KissKiss range for SS17, including 567 Pink Sunrise, a romantic rosy red, and 542 Orange Peps which is an intense bright orange shade.

The limited edition Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick shades promise to dress the lips in bold, comfortable colour thanks to its satin-finish and non-drying texture. These lipsticks are enriched with plumping Hyaluronic Acid Spheres and Mango Butter, to immediately smooth and nourish, for a perfected lip look.

Personally, I’m a big fan of bright lipstick shades for summer, any bright oranges or hot pinks will always look good with a tan, so this intense orange shade is the perfect addition to your SS17 lipstick wardrobe.

Guerlain’s Terracotta range is available now at  and .

Beauty: Kiko Mini Divas Limited Edition Capsule Collection

Posted on July 3, 2017

Hi Guys!

I have the fourth limited edition capsule collection from Kiko to share with you today – in collaboration with Vogue, KIKO has handed over the reins for this collection to Benedetta Bruzziches, an emerging talent and owner of the Benedetta Bruzziches accessory brand. Mini Divas pays modern-day homage to the glamour of the stars of the 1950s, including makeup products and accessories designed for a sophisticated and magnetic look.

Blush, bronzing powder, mini baked eyeshadow, mascara with pencil for intense looks and small, jewel-like lipsticks that you can carry with you on-the-go in your new evening clutch bag await you, together with the most glamorous beauty accessories. These mini accessories are irresistibly seductive.

Starting with the Mini baked bronzer (£8.90) – this bronzer has been designed to give a natural and radiant glow to the complexion. Offering buildable coverage, it has a lovely soft texture that’s easy to apply and blend. This is available in one shade, 02 Essential Biscuit, and as soon as I saw it I know I’d love it. This colour is perfect for those with fair or very fair skin tones, giving a lovely light warm hue to the skin.

Next I have the Mini Baked Blush (£7.90) – again this product is only available in one shade, 01 Outstanding Cherry Flower. This mini baked blusher has an ultra-fine texture making a joy to apply to the cheeks, as well as being easy to blend.

And the Mini Baked Eyeshadow (£4.90) – this super dinky eyeshadow is again baked, and is super finely milled, giving a silky smooth texture, and the formula also includes a high pearl percentage which gives a gorgeous shimmery metallic finish. I have shade 03 Ritual Golden Brown which is a beautiful rich chocolate brown, that applies evenly and looks fab all over the lid for a smoky eye. You can also use the Mini Baked Eyeshadows wet for more intense colour payoff. There are four shades to choose from –

  • 01 Balanced Champagne (pearl)
  • 02 Radiant Copper (metallic)
  • 03 Ritual Golden Brown (pearl)
  • 04 Gleaming Gold (pearl)

I also have the Mini Mascara + Mini Eye Pencil Kit (£8.90) – this sweet little set is just perfect for throwing into your bag on a night out. The Mini Eye Pencil is perfect for lining the top lid, and the Mini Mascara is a great curling mascara with a volume-enhancing effect – both are just really handy for touch ups when you’re out and about.

And lastly I have the Half-Matte Mini lipstick (£4.90) – available in three shades, this super cute little lipstick features a smooth-gliding and comfortable texture that provides excellent coverage with a full, pigment-rich vibrant colour. I have shade 02 Wieldy Geranium which is a stunning true bright red – I love it!

  • 01 Practical Rose
  • 02 Wieldy Geranium
  • 03 Handy Orchid

I really love everything about this collection from the mini sized products to the cute packaging –  if you’re looking to stock up on some travel makeup essentials, be sure to check out this range!

Beauty: An Introduction to IT Cosmetics at QVC

Posted on September 28, 2016

Hi Guys!

IT Cosmetics are one of those US brands that have been on my wish list for a while, so when the guys at QVC gave me the opportunity to try a few of their products, I jumped at the chance!

For those not familiar with IT Cosmetics, they’re a US based brand that has gained quite the cult following over over some of their base products – such as their famous CC Cream and Bye Bye Undereye Concealer. Luckily I’ve been able to try one of these out, as well as a couple of their other popular products…

So one of IT Cosmetics most famous products is of course the Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, which is available as a bundle including a Dual-Ended Concealer Brush (for £23.64) This is an award-winning full coverage concealer that offers highly pigmented, natural-looking coverage, while the formula treats the appearance of lines, wrinkles and discolouration.

Well this all sounded pretty fantastic to me. For as long as I can remember I’ve always had dark circles under my eyes, so I had very high expectations for this product to work – as that’s exactly what it’s aimed at. I tried out two shades, Light and Medium, and found that I preferred light for my pale skin tone. The formula is very creamy with intense pigmentation, and it gives high coverage that most definitely erased my dark circles. I found the finish to be a bit on the shiny side though on its own, so setting it with a powder really worked for me. I was so impressed with how it literally made my dark circles vanish! I should point out it can also be used for general blemish concealing but it’s particularly aimed at the under eye area as it doesn’t settle into fine lines, and also helps to diffuse the appearance of wrinkles.

Next we have the Sunshine in a Compact Vitality Anti-Aging Matte Bronzer & Mega Fat Fan Brush (£34.50) – This Sunshine in a Compact Anti-Aging Matte Bronzer is a nice warm matte bronzer in a large compact (there’s nothing worse than a tiny bronzer, don’t you think?) The formula is talc-free, and contains IT Cosmetics Drops of Light Technology to add instant radiance to your complexion without any glitter or shimmer.

The formula also includes anti-aging hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, silk and antioxidants to treat the skin whilst preventing the product from settling into any fine lines, and blurring the look of pores and imperfections. I actually initially thought the shade might be a tad too warm for me, but it applied with just the right amount of colour payoff and gave a lovely glow to my skin.

And lastly the Hello Light Creme Illuminator (£29.00 including a brush not shown) – Now I am all about the highlighters right now, and I couldn’t wait to try this one out. This product promises to give a lit from within glow to the complexion, offering a light, natural radiance and illumination. It’s also infused with skin-loving, anti-aging and hydrating ingredients; including Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Silk and Vitamins A, C, & E, which work together to hydrate, condition, and nourish the skin.

Now I’ve used a fair few highlighters in my time, and I know what I like and what I don’t like. From the description, this sounded like everything I look for in a highlighter – and oh my gosh it was literally highlighter perfection!

Firstly the shade is on the paler side, which is perfect for my fair complexion – and it’s not chunky, glittery or shimmery in any way – it’s just pure glow! The creme formula is a dream to apply, and really easy to build up if you want a more intense look. It glides on the skin with ease and also doesn’t emphasise the look of pores which some highlighters can tend to do.

I’ve included a bronzer and highlighter swatch below –

I’ve swatched the bronzer with quite a heavy hand here just so you can see the colour. It’s a really nice warm terracotta, again light enough to suit those with fairer skin tones. And you can see the highlighter is a really light colour, almost white – I love it!

I really am so impressed with these products – the quality across all of them is just fantastic, and though they seem on the expensive side, in my opinion they are well worth the money – especially the highlighter!

I’ve also had a quick look on the IT Cosmetics US site – and there are so many amazing looking products on there – I hope QVC UK can offer a bigger range soon!

Al the above products are available now at .

I hope you enjoyed my post! xxx

The NEW Models Own 500 Piece Collection!

Posted on June 13, 2016

Hi Guys!

Yes you did read that right, it’s not a typo – Models Own latest range of products contains not 5, not 50, but 500 different products, OMG! I mean what the heck? Just to give you a bit of an idea, here’s a list of JUST the eye products, not including any palettes, and not including the different shades available for each product –

  • Eye Base Eyeshadow Primer
  • MyShadow Powder Eyeshadow – Matte
  • MyShadow Powder Eyeshadow – Shimmer
  • MyShadow Powder Eyeshadow – Baked Marble
  • MyShadow Cream Eyeshadow
  • MyShadow Eyeshadow Dust
  • MyShadow Quad Powder Eyeshadow
  • MyShadow Finale (Eye makeup sealer)
  • Colour Chrome Eyeshadow Kit
  • i-Definer Kajal Kohl Liner
  • i-Definer Kohl Pencil Eyeliner
  • i-Definer Eyeliner Duo
  • i-Definer Liquid Eyeliner
  • i-Definer Felt Tip Ink Eyeliner
  • i-Definer Gel Eyeliner
  • Flawless Under Eye Concealer
  • Magic Mascara – Extreme Volumising
  • Magic Mascara – Waterproof
  • Magicwand
  • Hypereyes 3-in-1 Mascara
  • Hypereyes 3-in-1 Waterproof Mascara

So yeah you get the idea!

With such a massive new range it would seem that Models Own are making a clear statement that they’re not just a nail polish brand. They literally have something for every makeup need! There’s also plenty of tools and brushes in the collection (including some rather nice looking high shine Rose Gold brushes might I add) and some more unexpected items such as Hand Cream, Makeup Fixing Spray and Micellar Water.

I have a small selection of these products to show you today – let’s get stuck in!

Starting with the Eyeyshadow Palette in Sweet Dreams (£14.99) – this is one of nine different palette options, each including a wide variety of eyeshadow shades. If you love neutrals there’s a palette for you, if you love neon brights, pastels, dark shades – there’s also a palette for you in this collection!

The Sweet Dreams palette contains a selection of pastels and brights, with both matte and shimmer finishes, as well as a double ended brush. The shadows are nicely pigmented and really easy to work with and blend.

Next we have the i-Definer Kohl Pencil Eyeliner in Electric Indigo (£5.99 – this is a gorgeous intense bright blue shade which is right up my street! This waterproof eyeliner pencil comes in a massive 16 different shades, the formula is smooth and applies easily to the lids without any dragging.

And the Now Brow! Eyebrow Pencil & Blender Duo in Chestnut 126 (£7.99) – this handy duo product includes a slanted eyebrow pencil at one end, and a blender at the other, so you can easily fill in brows with the pencil for a natural look, or blend out for more definition.

When it comes to adorning your lips, Models Own really couldn’t have made it easier – they have velvet lipsticks, matte lipsticks, liquid lipsticks, sheen lipsticks, lip stains, lip glosses, lip gunks (coming up below) lip liners, lip pencils, lips balms, a lip primer and a lip sealer… WOW! And take a breath! 🙂

The Luxestick Velvet Lipstick (£7.99) comes in 10 shades, and I have Plush Peony, an intense bright fuchsia shade. This is a nice lipstick but the pigmentation wasn’t quite as intense as I was hoping. If you’re looking for a highly pigmented lip product, I’d definitely recommend the Lip Gunk Glosses!

The Rock N Rosy Blusher Stick (£6.99) is a handy little twist up stick which is perfect for giving a pop of cream colour to the cheeks. I have shade Peach Pop which is a mid peach with a matte finish. It’s worth mentioning a little goes a long way with this product, it blends out really nicely though so you can wear it as sheer or as heavy as you like.

Next we have the Lip Gunk Kits (£10.99) – these come in two options: Metallic (6 shades) and Gloss (8 shades). Each mini kit contains a Lip Paint, a mini brush with its own lid and a mixing palette, all in a dinky little zip lock bag.

I have the Metallic Lip Gunk kit in Fusion, this is an intense bright blue. The formula has a super high shine metallic finish, which I love, but the Gloss Lip Gunk Kit definitely had the wow factor for me. I don’t really know what I was expecting, maybe a semi sheer red gloss? But this gloss in shade Wild is SO pigmented, I can’t even tell you! This product definitely gets top marks from me. (I should ask mention each kit contains a mini mixing tray, so you can mix different shades together to make your own customer lip colour – how awesome is that!)

And the Sculpt & Glow Liquid Highlighter (£9.99) – this liquid highlighter comes in four shades, and I have Rose Gold. Initially I thought this might be a bit orangey and dark for my pale skin tone, but it actually blends out sheer with less colour than I was expecting, and just gives the skin a nice healthy glow.

The Sculpt & Glow Contouring Bronzing Powder (£8.99) – is a lovely little matte powder which can be used for bronzing and / or contouring depending on your preference. This product comes in four shades, and I have Deep Tan, which is quite a warm dark tan shade. Personally I think this would be too warm to contour with, but it would work great as a bronzer on darker skin tones.

Next the i-Definer Kajal Kohl Liner (£7.99) – though I’m not personally a fan of this style of eyeliner, I know many people love them, and I must say the i-Definer Kajal Kohl Liner does offer intense pigmentation – if you’re looking to try a new Kajal Kohl liner I’d definitely recommend checking this one out.

Well what a fantastic collection of products! My favourites are definitely the Lip Gunk Gloss which you really must check out, as well as the Blusher Stick 🙂

The full collection is available now at .
