We Wish You a Merry Kitschmas!

Posted on December 8, 2017

Hi Guys!

So Christmas is finally upon us! I’ve put together a nice little tabletop scene today so I can show you some of my favourite fun and colourful Christmassy decorations and festive bits and bobs.

If you know me, you’ll know I love anything fun, colourful, silly and kitsch, and I love that more and more fun Christmas decorations pop up every year. Read on to find out where all my festive goodies came from…

Ok so to start with, my Champagne Sequinned Tablecloth was very reasonably priced at £13.99 from  – apparently it was reduced from £188 which I find pretty unbelievable! Anyway, I’ve actually picked up quite a few Christmas decorations from Amazon this year, and managed to snag some great bargains. Another one is the Iridescent Metallic Shimmer Curtain (showing hanging in the background) – this was only £3.99 from  and well worth it to add a bit of colour and flair to a wall or doorway.

I’m also in love with this luxury Flower Lady Candle which I’ve recently received from . It very much reminds me of my favourite candle brand, Fornasetti, with its pretty face design. The Flower Lady Candle, however is very reasonably priced at £28.00, and has a lovely scent of fresh flowers including notes of red rose petals, cassis, wild berries and galbanum.

I absolutely adore festive floral arrangements, and the selection of Christmas stems, artificial flowers, garlands and wreaths available at this year are just stunning. Wether you’re looking for a more traditional look, or tend to lean toward the eclectic, there’s plenty of choice, and you know that Amara will never let you down in terms of quality.

I have a beautiful Metallic Maple Leaf Stem in champagne silver and a gorgeous Blue Poinsettia – both are pretty large and are perfect for making a grand floral statement!

While I’m talking about Amara, the gorgeous blue and pink gradient  in the background also came from them –  it’s just so fun and unusual, and of course not forgetting the absolutely bonkers  – what could be more festive!? 😀

Another great place for decorations is H&M – have you seen their home section? They have loads of home accessories at reasonable prices. I recently picked up this cute little  (you can just see this in front of the cactus) as well as a couple of cute silver and gold .

I also have this fantastic Geo Glass (£14.99 at ) – taking inspiration from modern terrariums with a unique angular shape, this gorgeous drinking glass is made from thick hand blown glass, and can also be used to beautifully display your favourite mini plants!

When it comes to kitsch Christmas decorations, Paperchase is definitely where it’s at. If you love anything fun and colourful and just a bit mad you NEED to get on their site. They currently have a 3 for 2 offer on selected , as well as quite a few other offers on. Go on and take a look – trust me you won’t be disappointed!

Also, don’t forget your local supermarket! I think they’re really upping their game this year in terms of Christmas decor. I picked this up from my local Morrisons for only a couple of pounds, and they also had lots of other fun decorations on offer other than the bog standard tinsel and baubles, which was great to see.

And last but not least – I’ve actually been both busy and unwell of late, and I completely forgot I had this gorgeous giant advent calendar rom Niederegger to tuck into, which takes you right through to the 1st January with an assortment of 40 mini marzipan bites, pralines and truffles! If you haven’t heard of Niederegger, they’re a world famous German brand since 1806 who sell luxury marzipan based confectionary and have a famous café in the city of Lubeck. If you’re a fan of marzipan you should check out some of their other offerings at  and various stockists nationwide.

So what do you think? Do you love fun crazy decor like me, or are you more traditional? I’d love to hear what your Christmas Decor style is, and where you pick your decorations up from?

I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Home & Interiors: Must Try Candles feat Fornasetti, Cire Trudon & More.

Posted on November 7, 2017

Hi Guys!

It’s only in recent years that I’ve become a big fan of scented candles. I love how they can transform a room into a welcoming space, evoking feelings of warmth and calm on a chilly day, or how fruity citrus scents can energise and liven up an atmosphere – anyway, I have a few candles to share with you today that I’ve gathered together over the last couple of months. This is quite an eclectic selection both in terms of price and scents so I hope there’s something for everyone here –

Starting with the stunning Fornasetti Fior Di Lina Scented Candle (£140.00 at ) – Fornasetti really is the height of luxury when it comes to candles, and one of their latest releases, the Fior Di Lina Scented Candle is a must have for fans of the brand.

Housed in a typical Fornasetti designed casing, the Fior Di Lina candle looks as good as it smells. It features the beautiful enigmatic face of Lina Cavalieri surrounded by flowers and butterflies, and once you’ve finished burning the candle, you can keep the container as a decorative planter that would look stunning in any home. The fragrance is gorgeous as expected, it has a lovely fresh floral scent, with notes of lily, jasmine, and tuberose, and a base of warm sandalwood, and the generously sized 300g candle will burn for up to 60 hours.

Another find from Amara is their own brand A by Amara Sicilian Lemon & Sea Salt Candle (£50.00 at ) – still on the pricey side, this luxury scented candle has a beautiful fresh and sparkling citrus scent with a woody base, including notes of Sicilian lemon and sea salt with a base of blonde wood. This A By Amara candle is made from natural wax, with a high 10% perfume content, and it’s housed in a beautiful grey marble finish ceramic vessel, with a gold printed A for Amara Collection on the lid. If you’re a fan of bright citrus scented candles, this is definitely worth a try.

I also have the beautiful Cire Trudon Reggio Candle (£78.00 at and ) – This is my first ever candle from Cire Trudon, and Reggio truly is a stunning scent. With notes of grapefruit, mandarin and mimosa, this fragrance is inspired by the iconic city of Southern Italy. Reggio embodies the easy-going Italian way of life – citrus trees and thousand-year old olive trees grow, facing its Reggio’s legendary bay, whilst Calabrese mandarin fills the orchards with its perfume. The idyllic scent of this city is captured within this striking looking candle which is housed in a midnight blue vessel with golden Cire Trudon label – I definitely can’t wait to try more candles from this brand now!

Moving on to slightly more affordable options now, another first for me is the Arum London Coconut & Lime Candle (£34.00 at ) – this candle just smells gorgeous, this scent is the perfect combination of juicy lime, balanced with notes of creamy coconut. Their candles are all hand poured and made from 100% natural paraffin-free wax, including a blend of perfumes and essential oils, and will burn for approximately 40 hours.

Arum have also just launched their new Autumn / Winter collection, containing some beautiful sounding scents such as Tea Rose & Clove, and Oats & Honey, which would be perfect for Christmas time.

I also have the Boy Smells Petal Candle (£32.00 at ) – firstly, I love the name of this brand! Boy Smells is a Los Angeles based brand, where their hand poured candles contain a blend of beeswax and coconut oil, with a braided cotton wick. The Petal Candle has a modern floral scent, balancing high notes of magnolia, tuberose and purple geranium, with the depth and warmth of golden amber and exotic musk. Not overly sweet, this is the perfect daytime candle that will work in any room of your house. In terms of packaging, I love the contrast of the black glass tumbler with the matte pink label and carton. If you like your candles to be chic, modern and minimal, this is definitely a brand to try.

I also wanted to mention Osmology, the site this candle came from. This store is basically heaven for candle fans as they stock a vast range of niche brands from across the world – take a look and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

And lastly I have a couple of large tumbler candles from the Isle of Skye Candle Company. (£18.00 at ) – again, this is another brand that creates hand made candles, using only natural soya wax – and they promise their unique combination of wax and oils gives some of the longest and cleanest burn times around, and their wicks have been specially developed to optimise the burn so that no wax is left in your glass when it has burnt all the way to the bottom.

I have the Lemongrass candle, which is made of pure lemongrass distilled straight from the plant. This scent is perfect if you’re in need of re-energising. And Pomegranate & Plum – this is a fantastically juicy fruity fragrance that’s just right for livening up your space on a daily basis.

If you’re looking for more wintery scents, Skye Candles also have plenty of options available – the Cinnamon and Ginger & Nutmeg candles sound gorgeous!

Are you a fan of scented candles? I’d love to hear what your favourites are! I hope you enjoyed my post xxx

Fun & Quirky Luxury Father’s Day Gifts at Amara

Posted on June 14, 2017

Hi Guys!

Father’s Day is almost upon us again, and if like me, you’re not particularly prepared as yet, I have some fantastic gift ideas from luxury gifting and home accessories site to share with you today. Enjoy!

For the dads that like a tipple, this Tank Whisky Decanter (£80.00) by  would make the perfect gift. Made of luxurious mouth-blown glass, this contemporary decanter is finished with copper detailing for added elegance. I’ve also included the matching Low Ball Glasses (£45.00 now reduced to £38.00) by  – especially made for short drinks, this pair of glasses with hand painted copper detailing match perfectly with the decanter, and would make any whiskey fan’s dream gift.

There are also plenty more products in the Tom Dixon Tank collection, including wine glasses, vases, jugs and bowls. This range is just perfect for adding a touch of luxury to your kitchen or bar area – I’d definitely recommend checking these out as there are quite a few products currently in the Amara sale, where you can save up to 50%.

If Dad’s a fan of contemporary home accessories, or maybe he might like something to jazz up his desk – this decorative Pineapple Ornament (£25.00) by  could be just the ticket. Available in a selection of colours, including Grey, Gold, and Rose, this beautifully detailed ornament is crafted from stoneware and will look fantastic in any space around the house.

For the music and tech lover, I have the aGroove Bluetooth Speaker (£49.00) by  – this sleek and elegant wireless speaker is compact enough to literally be placed anywhere around the house, allowing you to be able to listen to your favourite music in style – and without having do deal with unsightly cables. Kreafunk has designed this speaker with both sound and aesthetics in mind. It’s beautifully soft to the touch with rounded edges, and plays for up to 24 hours at full charge via Bluetooth. They’ve also included USB and AUX cables for ultimate ease.

And lastly for something a little different, how about this fabulously quirky Sitting Mouse Lamp (£60.00) by  I have to say I absolutely love this lamp, and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to include it in my write up – it’s just so fun and different! This little guy stands about 12cm tall, so he’s pretty much true to size for a large-ish mouse. He’s made of white resin, and sits nicely on the edge of a desk or mantlepiece, patiently holding a LED lightbulb – whilst looking like he’s really up to no good! There are also two other mice available, with one laying down and one standing up – how cool would they look dotted around the house!

Amara have also put together their own quiz to help you find the perfect Father’s Day gift. You can check this out below –

Lifestyle & Beauty: Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Posted on March 21, 2017

Hi Guys!

I’m not sure how on earth it’s almost Mother’s Day already – didn’t Christmas just happen? Anyway, Mother’s Day is right around the corner so I thought I’d gather together a few lovely gift ideas to hopefully give you some inspiration. I’ve tried to include a bit of everything here to cover a range of budgets – Enjoy!

Starting off with some beautiful rose gold jewellery from Ted baker – the Ted Baker Ceanna Cuff Bracelet & Edda Bow Necklace (£17.50 each at ) are such good bargains, I had to include them. They’re both half price at the moment (£17.50 rather than £35.00 each) which really is a fantastic bargain.

The Ceanna Gem Frame Cuff Bracelet is made from brass with rose gold coloured plating, it features a gem frame design and is enhanced with Swarovski crystal embellishments. And the Edda Bow Necklace also has a rose gold finish, with a super cute baby pink bow pendant.

I also had to include the lovely Ted Baker Hat Box Gift Set (£18.00 at ) – This decorative hat box contains a 200ml refreshing body wash, a large 250ml shimmering body soufflé and a mini bath scrunchie. The box is also very pretty and would be great to keep or to use for future gifting.

Next I have this super sweet Cupcake Kit (£24.99 at ) – this handy kit contains everything you need to bake and decorate 8 cupcakes. Inside the box is a pastry bag, 7 pastry tips, 1 pastry clip, 8 re-usable silicone cupcake cups and 1 recipe booklet, featuring step-by-step instructions for using the pastry bag and creating delicious cupcakes. I’m looking forward to trying this set out with my son very soon! 🙂

The Swash London Floral Meadow Notebook (£12.50 at ) is another half price find in the Amara sale. This fun and colourful notebook has plain pages and a hardback cover, finished with a hot pink elasticated bank closure and a matching ribbon marker.

Clarins have also recently brought out some lovely products which would make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts. The Clarins Tender Moments Collection is a mini collection of products in cute, limited edition packaging.

The Skin Illusion Blush (£16.00 at ) is a handy little product that’s perfect to give cheeks a pop of colour. I love the compact style of the packaging, and Clarins has also incorporated a mirror onto the lid which is a really nice touch. The formula contains active plant ingredients which offer added comfort and radiance on application, and I love that the product is super easy to apply with the integrated sponge.

And the Daily Energizer Lovely Lip Balm (£16.00 at ) – rather than just a bog standard lip balm, this nifty little product contains an ‘intelligent pigment’ which reacts with the lips’ pH to develop a personalised natural pink shade. The balm also promises to repair and nourish whilst the peachy fragrance smells good enough to eat.

For Mum’s that like a brew, the Silken Pyramids Selection Box Set (£22.00 at ) is the perfect set for branching out into new tea flavours. This luxury selection box is filled with silken pyramids which have been individually wrapped for freshness. There are four beautifully-aromatic infusions to choose from, including:  Jasmine Princess, Strawberry & Mango, Hunan Green and Rooibos Orange.

For mums in need of a pamper (hands up!) the La Source Collection (from £6.00 at ) is definitely worth checking out.

The La Source collection draws inspiration from the restorative powers of the sea, and is carefully designed to restore, condition and rejuvenate the skin from head to toe. Formulated with a blend of ingredients such as underwater algae, mineral salts and seaweeds the products in this collection allow you to escape everyday life and immerse yourself in spa-like rituals.

Of the above products so far I’ve tried the beautiful La Source EDT fragrance, and the Refreshing Body Mist. They both smell wonderfully light and refreshing, and I think any mums in need of some me-time would love to receive these this Mother’s Day.

I’m pretty sure I can’t plan a gift guide without including a candle! This Cat Candle (£45.00 from ) is just so unusual and striking, I think cat lovers and candle fans would both love it. The candle itself is available in a either lavender or rosemary & watermelon scents, and it’s housed in a wonderful bone china container, decorated with cats and embellished with pure gold lustre.

For fans of skincare, the Foreo Luna 2 (£169.00 at ) would make a fantastic gift. It is expensive, but in my opinion it’s worth the splurge when you consider how much use you’d get out of it.

The LUNA 2 is an enhanced T-Sonic face brush and anti-aging system that gives you a completely personalized cleansing, and it’s now available with four specialized brush types for a tailor-made skin care experience. I won’t go into too much detail here, but please check out my previous review if you’d like to hear more about the Foreo Luna 2.

Another one of my favourite brands for gifting is Molton Brown, and their new Exquisite Vanilla & Violet Flower Shower Gel & Lotion Gift Set (£45.00 at ) really would make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. This limited edition bath and body set blends notes of creamy vanilla over delicate floral scents of violet flower and orris, to create a stunning fragrance. The set is presented with a grosgrain bow and violet-hued metallic caps in an exquisite limited edition Mother’s Day gift box.

For a budget option, this Exquisite Choices Gift Set (£12.95 at Pretty Little Treats) is just so girly and pretty. The handcrafted set contains four pampering treats: a mini pot of hand cream, a lip balm, a bath treat, and a matchbox solid perfume bar. The products are all beautifully packaged, and presented in a luxury box which is perfect for gifting.

On to fragrance now, DKNY Be Tempted Eau So Blush (£50.00 for 50ml at ) is a wonderfully fresh and sparkling fragrance that’s perfect for Spring. Be Tempted Eau So Blush opens with an invigorating blend of Pink Grapefruit infused with juicy Blood Orange and succulent Red Currant, whetting the appetite with mouthwatering notes. With a playful allure, Pink Peony, sensual Jasmine and Cedar Wood at the heart lead to a base of rich Creamy Woods, Apricot and Musk.

  • Top Notes: Pink Grapefruit, Blood Orange, Magnolia and Red Currant.
  • Heart Notes: Peony, Jasmine and Cedarwood.
  • Base Notes: Creamy Woods, Apricot and Musk.

I’ve also included Estee Lauder Modern Muse Nuit EDP (£70.00 at )- this floral woody oriental scent blends sophisticated floral tones with creamy woods to create a beautiful contrasting accord that is lushly vibrant yet luxuriously warm. More of an evening fragrance than the original Modern Muse, this scent is opulent, glamorous and sensual.

  • Top Notes: Mandarin and Bourgeon de Cassis.
  • Heart Notes: Chamomile, Jasmine Absolute, Jasmine Sambac China and Heliotrope.
  • Base Notes: Sandalwood, Clearwood, Tonka Beans, Madagascar Vanilla, Musks and Amber.

And I had to include this Elie Saab Le Parfum Gift Set (£49.30 at Escentual) – I’m a massive fan of Elie Saab fragrances so I think this Le Parfum gift set would make a wonderful present for Mother’s Day. If you’re not familiar with the scent, Le Parfum is a beautiful, voluptuous and feminine fragrance. It opens with a radiant Orange Blossom, leading to a heart of elegant Jasmine Absolute, combining with a pure, modern Patchouli. The base note unfolds into a Cedar Woody Accord adding character and a lingering trail, while the Honey Rose envelops the composition in a beautifully addictive note.

The gift set includes: Le Parfum EDP 50ml, Le Parfum Scented Body Lotion 50ml, and an Elie Saab Red Clutch Bag.

  • Top Notes: Orange Blossom.
  • Heart Notes: Jasmine Absolute and Patchouli.
  • Base Notes: Clear Woods and Honey Rose.

And lastly, I also wanted to show you this stunning fragrance from Vince Camuto: Fiori (£55.00 at ). I just love Vince Camuto bottles, they’s so striking and would look just wonderful displayed on a dressing table. Fiori (meaning Flowers in Italian) is a fresh, light and  uplifting fragrance featuring top notes of luscious Pink Grapefruit and ripened White Nectarine, a heart of sheer Iris and dewy Freesia, leading to a base of rich Sandalwood and creamy Blonde Cedarwood.

  • Top Notes: Pink Grapefruit and white Nectarine
  • Heart Notes: Iris and Freesia.
  • Base Notes: Sandalwood and Blonde Cedarwood.

I’m sorry this ended up being such a ling post – well done if you made it this far! I hope you have a lovely Mother’s Day whatever you do, and I hope you enjoyed my gift guide xxx

Father’s Day Luxury Gift Guide – Fragrance, Skincare & Plants!

Posted on June 9, 2016

fathers-day-gift-guide

Hi Guys!

Father’s Day has managed to sneak up on us once again, so I’ve taken the liberty of putting together a few luxury gift ideas for you. There’s some gorgeous fragrances in today’s post, skincare products and even plants – enjoy!

paco-rabanne-and-acqua-di-parma

Starting with a gorgeous and reasonably affordable fragrance, this striking trophy shaped bottle contains Paco Rabanne’s Invictus (which is Latin for invincible) – it’s described as a fresh and sporty fragrance, representing power, dynamism and energy.

The fragrance opens with fresh grapefruit and a marine accord that leads to the heart of aromatic bay leaf and jasmine, and a woody base of guaiac wood, patchouli, oak moss and ambergris…

  • Top notes: Grapefruit, Mandarin Orange, and Marine Accords.
  • Heart notes: Bay Leaf and Jasmine.
  • Base notes: Guaiac Wood, Oakmoss, Patchouli and Ambergris.

Paco Rabanne Invictus is from £42.00 for 50ml EDT, and available now at .

And for the discerning gent, how about the Collezione Barberie collection from Acqua Di Parma? This collection contains products, treatments and accessories created for discerning men who are meticulous with their skincare regime. Men who project their individuality and style through the perfect shave or a perfectly groomed beard.

Acqua di Parma have just expanded its Collezione Barbiere collection with three new and exclusive products – a Revitalizing Eye Serum, a Beard Serum, and a Deluxe Brush & Razor Stand –

The Revitalizing Eye Serum (£39.00 for 15ml) is the perfect product to soften and soothe the delicate skin around the eyes. Its formula reduces signs of early ageing, and this combined with the delicate massage provided by the cool steel of the roll-on dispenser ensures a fresh and relaxed look around the eye. This fresh and elegant gel has a silky texture, it’s pleasant and practical to use, and it is quickly absorbed into the skin.

And the Beard Serum (£30.00 for 30ml bottle) its formula is fluid and light, enriched with sweet almond oil and grapeseed oil extracts that act in synergy for a deep soothing action. The result is a glossy, silky and smooth beard.

You can shop the Acqua Di Parma Collezione Barbiere range at  now.

beetle-trinket-tray

And how awesome is this Beetle Trinket Tray from ?  I love that it looks really fancy, but it actually costs only £10.00 – what a steal! Perfect for the dad that’s forever losing his keys, leaving piles of change laying around the house (like my husband does) and generally just needs a place he can put his bits and bobs.

clean-reserve-and-van-cleef-and-arples

I have a couple more gorgeous fragrances too – firstly we have Clean Reserve Smoked Vetiver. I initially received this to try myself, as I loved the sound of it, but even though this fragrance is for both men and women, I found it was too masculine for me – but my husband loves it!

Each Clean Reserve fragrance was created to be dynamic and evoke, not memories of the past, but possibilities and experiences yet to be discovered. Each is linear without much movement from top to bottom, making it ideal for layering and blending.

Smoked Vetiver has a smoky sweetness that’s fresh, inviting, and sexy. It’s light and fresh when worn alone, but can also be paired with Sueded Oud to transform it into an irresistible sensual experience.

  • Top notes: Lemon Verbena, Bamboo Leaf, Bergamot, Quince and Pear.
  • Heart notes: Cedar, Cotton Flower and Peony.
  • Base notes: Moss, Amber, Musk, Vetiver, Woody Notes and Myrrh.

Clean Reserve Smoked Vetiver is £79.00 for 100ml at .

And Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight Patchouli – this is the latest addition to the Collection Extraordinaire range, where each fragrance is dedicated to a single raw ingredient. Moonlight Patchouli is obviously based around Patchouli, which is both powerful and earthy – its scent releases a wonderful freshness that appeals to both men and women.

The fragrance opens with woody patchouli accented with cocoa, leading to a floral heart of Bulgarian rose and powdery iris. The base note reveals a suede accord, adding a leathery and fruity quality to prolong the trail…

  • Top Notes: Patchouli, Cocoa and Woods.
  • Heart Notes: Bulgarian Rose and Iris.
  • Base Notes: Suede, Leather and Fruit.

Interestingly, though this fragrance sounds quite feminine with the floral notes, on the skin, it actually offers woody and leathery notes for him, and a powdery floral signature for her, making it unisex in a very individual way, and therefore able to be enjoyed by everyone.

Moonlight Patchouli is £126.00 75ml EDP and currently available at .

focus-therapy-balm-review

Next, I have something a little different. I came across the brand Scentered on Space NK when I was perusing their sale earlier this year, and I noticed their Focus Therapy Balm – this is a stimulating balm to clear the head, awaken the senses and focus the mind…

Apply Focus Therapy Balm before an important meeting, event, sports match, exam, performance or whenever else you need to be mentally alert, fully present and engaged. Focus helps you adopt the right frame of mind to perform to the best of your ability.

It’s quite hard to describe the fragrance of this product, it’s quite herbal, with notes of Peppermint, Rosemary Leaf, Clary Sage, Spearmint and Bergamot, combined with a woody base of Cedarwood, Patchouli and Thyme. The product itself is a rich, nourishing balm that won’t leave your skin feeling greasy, whilst ensuring long lasting fragrance delivery. It aims to promote concentration and clarity of thought, wherever you are.

Scentered Focus Therapy Balm is £14.50 at

bloom-and-wild-succulents

And lastly, for those that love gardening and plants – this Succulent Trio from Bloom and Wild brings a bit of greenery into the home, and requires pretty much zero effort. The Jamie Trio of Succulents contains three succulents in a bed of moss, presented in a metal tray. They just need lightly misting with water once a week (with the mister provided) and Bob’s your uncle!

The Jamie Trip is £25.00 and will be available at Bloom & Wild from Friday 10th June.

Luxury Gift Ideas from Amara

Posted on November 2, 2015

gift-ideas-from-amara

Hi Guys!

Happy Monday!

So it’s officially now November, which means Halloween is over and I feel as though I can talk about the ‘C’ word without a being greeted with a collection of sighs and rolled eyes! (Mostly from my husband!)

If you’ve already starting to think about Christmas, I’ll have some fantastic gift ideas coming up on the blog in the coming weeks – and to kick off the season to be merry, I’m starting with fabulous homewares company Amara.

If you haven’t heard of Amara, they’re a luxury homeware, gift and accessory store, started in 2005 by husband and wife team Andrew and Sam Hood. Initially opening a shop in Chelmsford, stocking the best in home accessories and carefully curated interior must-haves, the shop helped to build their client base and relationships with the world’s most coveted luxury brands. Soon Andrew spotted a gap in the online market place for a distributor of luxury homeware, and taking an entrepreneurial leap of faith they created their online store, .

Today, Amara proudly houses over 300 of the world’s most luxurious home fashion brands. Many of which are exclusive, such as Ralph Lauren Home, who have carefully selected Amara as the only online store to distribute their home collections.

amara-gifts

First up I have this beautiful glass  by LSA International. Now I must admit, I thought the vase came with the (assumingly fake) flowers shown in the image on the site, but unfortunately – my own fault, I hadn’t read the description properly, and the flowers weren’t included. So I picked up my own fresh flowers from a local shop – and I’m really glad I did. They smelled beautiful and really brightened up my kitchen!

The vase itself is fairly short and wide, at 11.5cm high, making it suitable for a thick bunch of flowers – or artificial flowers which I think I’ll try and pick up once these have died. This vase makes for a beautiful display or table centrepiece.

amara-kate-spade-notebook

Next up I have this super sweet mini  by Kate Spade New York. I love pretty much every single thing made by Kate Spade, but this dinky little notebook really caught my attention. It has a metallic rose gold faux leather cover with cream ‘The Devil’s In The Details’ text. It’s only 10cm tall so it’s perfect for popping in your bag for when you’re on the go. It has 160 lined pages with a gilded edge and a ribbon bookmark. Kate Spade has a massive selection of products available at Amara (including more gorgeous stationery pieces) so if you’re a fan you should definitely check them out.

amara-stationery-gifts

And lastly this amazing ‘Samba’  by Christian Lacroix. This beautiful hardback journal has 128 ruled pages, with a fantastically bright and colourful front cover, featuring jewels, palm leaves & tropical blooms with shots of metallic detailing. I LOVE this journal so much – it’s the perfect addition to my desk.

If you’re looking for gorgeous luxury gift ideas – or even something for yourself, I’d highly recommend checking out Amara!

I hope you enjoyed my post! xxx
