My only experience of Caudalie products so far has been a sample of their Polyphenol Anti Wrinkle Serum, which I received in March’s Lookfantastic Box. I loved this serum so I was really excited when Caudalie offered to send over their latest fragrance – Rose de Vigne for me to try out!
Rose de Vigne, is Caudalie founder’s Matilde Thomas’ fifth Fresh Fragrance scent for Caudalie, and the latest addition to my ever-growing fragrance collection. I love rose based fragrances but I think rose scents can often be overlooked by a younger audience, as they’re traditionally perceived as a more mature scent. Rose de Vigne though, is a beautiful combination of hesperides and rhubarb top notes, rose de mae and blackcurrant at the heart and magnolia, musk and amber woods which create a base note harmony. The result is a light, fresh and fruity rose fragrance, that’s definitely young at heart!
Below the vineyards of Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte, a countless number of roses bloom, creating a marvellous landscape of light, flowers and fruits. I captured their bright, pure fragrance in the early morning, blended with the scent of grape bunches and vine stocks, at the heart of my new Fresh Fragrance: Rose De Vigne. – Matilde Thomas
As far as I can tell, this isn’t an EDT or EDP fragrance as it doesn’t say either on the bottle. Due to the strength of the scent though I’d say this sits at an interesting place halfway between a perfume and a body spray, and at only £26 for 50ml it’s definitely worth purchasing.
I’m beyond impressed with this fragrance, considering it’s not an actual ‘perfume’ the scent lingers for hours before you need to re-apply, and I have to say this is definitely my favourite rose scent yet! If you’re looking for a fresh summery fragrance I’d highly recommend snapping one of these up!
You can purchase Rose de Vigne 50ml for £26.00 from Caudalie.
I’d love to hear if you’ve tried any Caudalie products? I hope you enjoyed my post xxx
